Auto ultimate under viparspectra 600w

How strong will the grow be in THC content? If it's like my two recent grows using blurple lights, your plant will grow and look gorgeous. Only, after you dry and cure it, you may find you don't get as high as dispensary grown. It's no wonder noone ever discusses that. My own personal experience after two separate grows is...most LED grown pot simply doesn't get the light intensity it needs to grow pharmacy quality plants. Pharmacy grown weed growers do not use LED panel lights.

Think I'm joking or don't know how to grow weed? Check out this close up of a bud with all its colorful glory. It didn't get me that high,
Well i will see in a few weeks ! if it has a good THC content. i have grown under hps lamps before. this is a grow under a viparspectra and my next grow will be 4 cinderella jack' s under 2 Quantum Boards 135W.
i know that viparspectra is a cheap light but it does better then i expected .

Considering its a stealth grow, the wattage I'm paying for should be plenty for a one plant grow.

I really wanna figure this out before my 3rd attempt grow.
Horticulture light group has one fro like 400$ that should help and even if it’s not enough mix it with the blurple and u should be fine

I am now ready to sell my now $99 blurple for whatever I can get on eBay. lol $45 bucks maybe?
Thanks for those who trust that it's not my regiment at fault, but rather the light that I'm using. I appreciate that a lot, to those of you who replied in kind. I'm not going back to shopping for a similar type blurple setup. After two disappointing grows, I want different...new. COB is my obvious choice. I run a stealth grow and can't run HPS type lights, too hot.

I would be jazzed and encouraged by any repliers who ditched their LED blurple panel, and got better results with a COB or Quantum setup (sry, HPS runs too hot for my single plant stealth grow). Two grows later, I'm done with blurple. The weed is just not that potent. Thanks to some of you. I may be posting here in RIU where to go from here for my 3rd grow attempt. It's not gonna be a blurple grow attempt. I lived...I learned. Did anyone else?

I'm on my 3rd grow, first with good seeds so I moved my Vipar to a little veg box and got and HPS for flower until I can get a nice LED hopefully by next week. Pretty sure I'm going with a 260w 2 QB kit from HLG. Everyone seems to love QBs from what I have read so far.

Chinese LED's are OK for veg state, I'm not dissing that. Beyond that? Total absolute junk, even tho you may get frosty nugs. I got frosty nugs. It didn't get me that high.

I kinda like it when someone steps forth and dare says the Emperor has no clothes on.

Bro set your ego aside, being wrong is a chance for learning. you tried to flower plants under 120w of lights and then complained about low yield. accept that all you know is that you know nothing and approach this hobby with an open mind and you are gonna feel way better. You're allowing your ego to ge tin the way of your personal grow(th) :/

As far as getting a potent one plant stealth grow to end up with some high THC content? OK swami.

I'm gonna photo period my 3rd grow and somehow not end up with a healthy grow but dark green leaves. Changing out my $109 BestVA1000w LED is first on my list of things to do before growing my next grow.

You described having dark green leafs and slow growth which sounds like low temperatures to me. But you refuse to take any advice from anyone, you're unwavering. You can get a couple ounces of potent weed under that light, hell with advanced growing techniques you could get 3 zips! But your first try didn't go as expected and now you're action' a fool. It's willful ignorance.

No mention of EC/ppm of your feeding regime. Its usually a standard tool to dial in nutrients. Where are you getting your feed schedule from? Dont trust the bottle, your plant dictates how much it can take. You are using a lot of different nutes, not sure how they all add up, could be over feeding? Did you lower the nutes when you went from 20-4 to 12-12? If your lowering your daily light by 40% you should expect your plant to eat less nutes. You talk about deficiencies but no real photo examples (i havent checked every photo, might be wrong :) )
There seems to be a bit of tip burn on tye photos from satday which would indicate over feeding. Hope it helps and no offence meant. Happy growing

Dark green leafs could be nitrogen toxicity aswell, or just the light, blurples seems to give plants that dark green look.

You mean I don't know how to tell a dark green leaf because I look at it under blurple light?
My stance after two grows, and accounting for my OK growing skillz is this...I gotta get me better lighting to get more THC content than my present $99 BestVA 1000w LED.

Dark green: it seems like the "blurple" spectrum is pretty good at turning out really healthy dark green looking plants that actually dont preform that well. Maybe something in the spectrum hitting reds and blues which are the absolute basic for plant survival making the plant look better than it really is. Im not sure about this effect but ive seen and people have commented on it repeatedly.
Changing lights is not going to hurt your grow can only really improve it. White light leds with high efficacy is the way to go.

On potency:
Lights: most people seem to get decent quality under blurples, just that the yield isnt there. You saying no potency, and by the looks you got very nice yields. So maybe not only a light problem? I think going from 20-4 vegg to 12-12 might be the a problem: the plant reacts to how much light it gets daily and you had to cut it by 40% to get your plant into flower. Tricomes are generally thought of as a kinda of defense mechanism and you wanna take Daily Light Intake DLI up rather than down in flower. Again, not sure, but this is a thought

Strain: auto ultimate: first there seems to be a consensus that most auto strains, even if your turned out to be photo, are weak tea. Also, if you got this directly from dutch passion (its an authentic seed?) Well if it turned out to be photo god knows what happened and probably bad potency. Another issue: heard some people where disappointed of auto ultimate first impression but better with a long slow cure.

Nutes: it worries me a bit that youve not even touched on the nute recommendations and questions above. You seem to have an attitude of "please confirm what i think is wrong, which btw is not my fault" and not touch any questioning on your nute regime which pretty clearly has given you some burnt leaf tips. You never mention EC in this grow, or if youre using RO water or tap water, and what is the EC/ppm of your tap water. Im not knowledged enough to say your nute regime is guaranteed too much, but youre searching acknowledgement that its not the nutes: anyone who knows their shit knows that youre regime is impossible to evaluate with out this basic info and it being missing makes me suspect that this is simply something that youre not checking for. Would also be good to know how you ph, after the nutes right? But how much time and mixing happens before you ph?
Maybe this is anplace to start, to give your basic procedure for mixing feed? What order, how do you know if you use too much or too little of each? Are you sure your not just reading on the back of the bottles because thats just recommendations and usually a little bit high. You need to read your plant if you want to be sure.

Also an idea: you mentioned Megacrop nutrients i think. Suppose to be a complete nute, no need for anything else, it contains everything that my mates pro-grow does (he adds everything separately). Maybe ditch the dozen bottles and keep it simple? But in that case try it on a photoperiod; autos on complete formulas jumps almost straight in to flower, no vegg and shit yield.
Peace out

Guy's i'm sorry if i did not answered any question but there is a lot going on and also i'm new here on this forum and i can't seem to see who is talking to me and who is talking others ! very confusing for me these Forum's .
i have the full range of AN nutes But i feed Half the dose they subscribe. the plant is almost finished and she's big but her leaves are getting dried out and ugly moslty the highest point.
i don't use EC meter and just use tap water.
i take the tap water and check ph it's arround 7.5/ 8 Ph so i put some ph down to the water to get it at 5.8 / 6 ph and leave it for a few hours.
then i mix in the nutes and check ph again. and correct it if needed.
i also made a mistake to not water until run off so i think my PH levels got high because of this i grow in coco.
but another lesson learned.

Hey yankeeny20, What's your opinion on the Viparspectra lights? I just got two 450watt reflector series lights and I have a new 1000watt cob led to run between the two of the in a 4x4x7 tent. I've got excellent par foot print but have not grown with these lights yet. How did things turn out for you? What did you have? And how was your final product?

I used the Viparspectra 600 for my 2nd grow, still learning. I had some bagseed, 2'x4' tent, finished in 3g smart pot. Ended up with 63.4g. It wasn't great but it smoked better than mids. Definitely wasn't frosty at all and the bud was pretty fluffy/airy. Again, I was and still am learning so maybe someone with experience could do better but I decided to get a better light.

I bought a HPS to flower my 4th grow (3rd was males from AWB) until I could figure out the LED thing. I just ordered some QBs which I should have tomorrow. Right now I have the Viparspectra in a small veg box working on some plants but I'm just gonna toss a QB in there in a few days, too.

Didn't take many pictures but here's what I have. Don't remember how far along it was.

That's done with a 600watt Vipar? It looks very nice yankeeny007. I'm trying to order seeds from Ocean but I don't think they ship to Canada. Your plant looks good with that light on it. You would probably need two in that tent to produce more firm flowers but it could be many things. I am new to growing indoors as well. I've always started my outdoor crop inside, I figured buy a few new lights and start growing full term indoors. You say you have only grown 3 crops inside? You learn fast obviously. F-in sweet my friend.

the leaves are looking very ugly on top of the plant bud the buds seem ok.
i'm very curious how much she will yield. i have posted some photo with my hand between the buds.
i have like 9 buds the size of them and lots of smaller ones. looks like she will be a big yielder.
