Thanks guys!
Yeah there are some amazing auto breeders out there nowadays, the strains a far throw from the old lowryders! I've found my favorites, the mephisto guys, no need to look any further, since that is not ultimately the direction I want to go. It's just an interlude on my way to DonBrennon and Bodhi (sunshine daydreams ahead!) strains :bigjoint:
But Mephisto is putting out some really cool stuff, I need to talk someone who's grown the clone-only version into growing their sour livers strains for comparison LOL
They do have very interesting terpene profiles too, sometimes a bit on the "flat" side, i.e. they don't evolve with curing as I have found with the NLH (the only photoperiod I can compare to for now!!), but when I think about the ritualistic way the oaxacans and co are grown out on the other end of the scale, small wonder?!
Big wonder actually they can achieve what they do in 70-90 days!
And yes, this one is incredibly resiny, I think I can pretty much skip trimming, just take off the fans for hash and done lol
Cheers!

Little veg side update. For those of you curious about the sip progress... it's working like a charm. Here's a batch of brainwreck sipping it up! (shhhhhhh the sunshine is for my veggie seedlings lol)

and I transplanted the cheese that were in the sip's far too long and the roots were insane! The container wasn't even a full gallon and these were in them at least 3 weeks if not 4. They were finally starting to tell me they needed transplanting, newest growth was getting a little discolored, i'd just been delaying because there is no room for a while in flower for them. I transplanted them into 5 gal plastics, with the same intentions... pumice wick! inch or a little more of pumice in the bottom, soil on top... let's see how it goes! probably have to blumat them during flower though.

and the worms are staying full and busy, it seems like they've almost made it through one of the bins already... seems really fast. gonna investigate next weekend. and I have an idea to lure them up out of the castings. I'm gonna build a frame with a screen, just like a level in a tower), and just make it so it fits in my bin, and put some goodies and bedding up in it, and give them a couple days to move up into it, and then harvest the castings once i remove them! Seems like it should work.

Flower shots still to come later/tomorrow. Until then.... :peace:

Edit: forgot the brainwreck notill shot, that plant is from the same batch as the ones in the sips.

Flower room update. Starting with DNA's Confidential Cheese @ day 28. I think the cold nights are slowing them down a little bit, and starting to turn them purple so they can soak up more heat while the lights are on. I know my night time temps are swingy from the day. probably 68-72 during day, and low 60s at night is my guess. i haven't had a hygrometer in my room in forever. I should probably get one. I just don't know exactly how to go about controlling temp in a room I'm constantly drawing air out of. maybe i need to get one of those temp controlled timers and figure out how to run my temps warmer without the heater being on all night. If any of you weed nerds watching have some ideas for me please feel free to post them! Anyways... back to the flowers!

On the other side of the room, three DQ (the two largest that are visible up front are in no-tills, one back left you can't see) and then one gorilla glue #4 in the back right (can't see it). All are at day 12.

Wish i had another HPS to throw over this canopy... definitely over grown! Everything looking super happy though!

Alright canna-friends, that will be all for the weekend updates. Hope you all have a great week! Again if you got any suggestions for me about the night time heat, please comment! Until next time... :leaf::peace::peace::peace::peace::peace::peace::peace::peace::peace::leaf:

Ok solved the cold night dilemma with some help from fellow RIU'ers in the design forum. Gonna get a oil radiant heater and put it on a timer. gonna get a fan temp controller and have it kick on at the typical daytime temps so it shuts off at the cooler nights and doesn't suck all the heat out of my room. gonna plug in the dehuey incase humidity goes too high with the fan off... Seems like a good place to start for me!

Dairy Queen @ 19 days, just starting to show some flowers

DQ19Days.jpg

Confidential Cheese @ 35 days

ConCheese35Days.jpg

I've been having some issues with my blumats that I think are slowing down the cheese. I keep adjusting them to a more moist setting and they just don't seem to be keeping up with these two ladies. have 2 maxi's in each 10 gal. Keep coming home to find them drier than I would like. Hoping this week they run a little more water after some adjustments. Coming into the final 3 weeks!

Not only that but temps at night are like 60-63 deg and day temps max out at like 72. gotta wait a lil bit longer before I can swing a heater and a fan temp controller in there. by that time i'll be through the coldest season, but i'll be ready for next year!

Here are the 5 gal plastic SIPs which have made it through their first week and are going strong. I gave them a decent defoliation because there's still 3 weeks before they get flipped so i wanted to slow them down a little bit. I think I defo'ed them one more time after I took this pic. Did the same with the 1 gal brainwreck SIPs too, for the same reason.

That will be all for the weekend for updates. Everyone have a good week!

thank you my friend! How are you doing? :) . what's going on with your out of control girl?
I wish I could say otherwise, but struggling at the mo.. at the mo? I have severe (and ever-increasing, practice doesn't make perfect in this I guess?) problems integrating myself into a society that is heading towards the abyss the way it is. Must I really follow THEIR rules for my own immediate survival? A part of me would rather die, doesn't make it easier lol

I definitely need to stop hijacking everyone else's threads for updates, so I'll go post in my closet build thread, where it's nicely fitting anyway!
Hows uni going? Any greenhouses on the horizon?
Hope you have a fine weekend!

haha you can hijack my thread anytime!

I know what you mean about society... and the will to not conform to it. I mean I already feel like I'm doing "what I'm supposed to do" by finishing college lol. Just remember, it's not all headed towards the abyss, we just focus on it too much. I am guilty of it myself. Sometimes I just gotta remember that there are people doing great things out there, its just one step forward and two (or seven) back! We will get there.

University is going well. Digging this genetics class this semester (as much as I didn't want to take it). Figure it'll come in handy someday if I ever start breeding plants. I went and bought stuff to make living soil beds in the greenhouse this past week. Was waiting on a few things to show up. I think i'm mixing the soil next week! Show these out of touch higher ups how it's done ;)

I shall go and seek your thread update!
