I totally get what you're saying.
I'm always adjusting nutes on the fly. Mostly because I like to run multiple strains in the same crop.
Hell I've got seven strains going right now!

Here are all multiple strains, I grew using that method. I mean yeah you do have to adjust and customize a bit, these were all from seed and you can see the solid bud formation.

Trich production seems to be fair as well..

The yellow leaves are just from the flush... I used to get a lb per seed run, back in the day... then switched to feeding the way I explained and now pull around 1.5 to 2 per 1000 hps. I suppose it is mainly because the buds seem to pack on closer all into main full colas as opposed to nugs here and there and gaps/spaces in the bud formation.

These were all from feminized seed, various breeders and various strains. In that particular room I was running a 1000w and a 600w and pulled right at 3 lb. Not bad, but I didn't used to get these results before I started feeding the way I currently do..

There is one plant in the very first photo in far left that you cannot see fully, but you can see the clawed leaves... That was "Purple Bud" an almost pure sativa and I accident my over dosed her on nitrogen lol, you can see her claws.

Plants in the back far right hand corner in first pic is a Zamaldelica next to an ECSDH ... Stretch is over in that photo and those lights were only 6ft and 2 inches high.

Cash, card, whatever. It's choice. We've all chosen what works for us.

I prefer the security of the card.
As far as cost....it's only on the card end, your paying the transaction fee's, not the retailer, nor does he add to it. At least the good sellers don't. They know the diff twixt one's that charge them, and non charging prepaids.....It's reflected on the invoice.....I don't need the *bonus* from cash sales. I simply care about what I ordered.
She-it, the vast bulk of the "freebie" stuff at most banks is garbage anyway.........Now we'll get a load of "BUT, I liked X,Y, or Z from this freebie...It was good" Was it really? I can count on one hand the times anything came out "good" from a freebie (defined as free beans of enlarging #'s for the amount you spent.) Now freebies directly from breeders? That is a whole different story!

Anyway, each payment method, have their good and bad points.....

Everything in-coming and out-going is drop shipped. "I" don't "exist" in the mailing loop.....I trust my drop shipper/receiver implicitly...

With full on sativas sometimes its best to start off with 12/12. That helps keep thier size down.
The zamaldelicas have been a learning experience.
And I'm not exactly thrilled to only get 4 females out of 11 Chinook Haze seeds.
Now I've got extra plant count & can't decide between taking clones or popping new beans.
Got a pack of "Half & Half" from cannaventure that I really want to try.
And they're feminized, which is nice.

Man I been busy making progress on my building.this shit is gonna straight when I'm done.im building it specifically for my needs so everything is laid out exactly the way I need it.ill have 2 separate 12 bucket 4X10 on 12 12 in one room and a dedicated 27 bucket under a 4x12 for vegging and sexing plants.i should pull a 4x10 every 30 days with this setup.all 10 foot ceilings

That's what happens with reg seeds. Might get mostly fem one pack and mostly males the next.

I want some of the half and half. They are out at the moment.

Sweet

I went with 6 inch walls but my building is a shed compared to yours lol and i need the insulation in a cold climate

At least by building it your self you can do the little things a contractor doesnt care about :)

Yeah I'm putting 2 inch foam on the outside and gonna run the ac lines on the wall between the 2 inch than cover with another 1 inch foam and stucco it.that gives me 3 inches of foam sealed on the outside and r13 on the inside walls.R30 in the ceilings and R30 under the floor.
Also using half inch ply on the ceilings so I can screw my lights up without having to deal with studs.gonna have custom drains in the floors and an inlet in each room for water.i can also put all the electric outlets exactly where they need to be for my pumps and water chillers.shit is gonna be bad ass

Ahh hate to hear that... For you anyway, I know your situation and that you have a limit on plant count and all. Those are some nice males in all seriousness lol.

I have found that on many landrace strains, it is best to hit them heavy up front in the beginning of 12/12 with bloom nutrients, something heavier in P and K and kinda back off the nitrogen at least for the first couple of weeks in flower. Then, on second week
plus through about 4ish, start increasing the nitrogen also while still giving them preferable amount a of P and K.

Also, if you have any, or maybe whatever nute/fert you are currently using has Kelp included in the mix, this is a great addiction for slowing down stretch as well. It contains a natural plant growth regulator (PGR) called Triacontanol... Especially if your kelp is extracted specifically or derived from the ascophylum nodosum species of sea kelp.

I don't always recommend starting 12/12 right off the bat with bloom nutes, but if head space is a concern for someone, especially in running a landrace indoors, you don't want that extra boost of vegetation time in the first few weeks of flower.. You wanna do everything possible to keep it short, kick her ass in gear to start pushing flowers and then once you start noticing good bud site development appearing, that is the sweet spot when you wanna start increasing the nitrogen just a little. Just enough to keep the leaves healthy and green.

There are basically two ways most people kick off the flowering cycle... And simply put...

1) Veg nutes continued into 12/12 for the first 2 to 3 weeks, then start feeding bloom food...(not my preference indoors, but definitely outdoors as this method is very important, in my climate anyway).

2) Flower nutrients started immediately and continued throughout the entire grow (which in my opinion most people see lots of deficiencies, specifically nitrogen with this method... Plants need that nitrogen at least till the last two weeks of flower).

3) This is the best choice for flowering plants with long solid full bud formation and reducing stretch to a minimum. I have created this for myself over the years, having to deal with short head space, I do this indoor only and got the #1 route outdoor.

It goes... Bloom nutes first 2 weeks with enough nitrogen to sustain a healthy green color in leaves, then switch to an equal amount flower/veg nute schedule from say week 2 to 3, then after 3 to 4ish drop the veg nutes and go full bloom specific again just like you did in week one. It is likely from this point forward that you bloom nutes contain enough trace amounts of nitrogen to sustain the plants demands from that point forward (after the 1 to 4 week stretch period), nitrogen is needed slightly but drastically less.

Sorry for the long post, but I wanted to make sure your picking up on what I'm saying.
Are you sure Triacontanol comes from kelp? I always thought it was derived from alfalfa.
I make a custom extract called "Kelpfalfa" and freeze it in ice trays. Because TRIA is an alcohol chain, it's hard to get it to freeze solid and handling the cubes is always messy.

Sounds like a great build.
I'm a builder and I really like your choice of materials.
On a side note. I looked into buying property down in the Gainesville area, but I stopped looking once i discovered the permitting process that even rural areas of Florida imposed on building.
At least on paper it seems strict.

Do you have a permit to build and if not, is there a chance the building inspector might come by and get up in your business?
This might be considered a shed if the square footage stays below the minimum. This looks a bit larger than this.

I'm in the middle of no where.dont need permit.worse case scenario I'll get fined for the structure.the county won' make you tear it down.the fine is triple the cost of the building permit.they just make u pay and go on about there day.my brother did the same thing on his add on to his house.the tax collectors office fined him.his ass hole neigbor called on him after it was,all done.Mine is basically a large garage.32x16.i dont have any neighbors.my property backs up to a few square miles of woods.will also be fenced in.
Worse case the county will send me a bill for the permits
