I should say a 1/4 strength of my overall full strength. Not 1/4 veg strength. I plan on maxing out at 6g during week 4 1/2-5 1/2 of bloom
That is similar to what my plan was for it.

If you don't mind answering a few more basic questions...
Do you water/feed until runoff?
If yes to runoff, how much?
Do you have a plan in place for how many days between feedings? I was planning on starting at week 3 then going every 3rd watering. I'm playing with it in a batch of recycled soil that I intend to keep recycling.

I do it differently all the time. Usually when im in 5gallon containers I water with minimal runoff maybe 10%. As often as every 2 days in peak uptake and as little as every 4 days in veg. My current flower room im in 30gallon smart pots and FED EVERY WATERING WITH NO RUNOFF. They take 4gallons each every 3 days. I did water to runoff two days ago as im "flushing" for the last two weeks

I have done nutrients at recommended strenght on a feed feed water. A feed water feed. And feeding low dose with every watering. All with great results each way

I never set a plan in stone. I still depend on picking up my pots to see if they are thirsty and watching growth for signs of burn or deficiency and adjusting accordingly. I always start freestyling and fall into a groove/pattern.

For instance with these seedlings. I am on 1/4 and will do that every third watering for another weekish then 1/4 every other watering the next week. Then 1/4 every watering. And by then I should be in bloom starting a 1/2 at every 3rd for the first week 1/2 every other watering the second week. Then 3/4 every 3rd watering so on and so forth until max dose around week 4-5+ish. Again depending what the plants have to say about that

Me Neither.

Prime example-
When I tried smart pots. I Hated them. Instead of throwing them away, I still have them and one is on the deck right now with some (potentially dead) companion plants. Seeing how a number of individuals are using them with great success I know it was my methodology at fault. Will try them again some day with different approach.

Thanks for sharing.

I cant love fabric pots any more. Its not possible lol. Im so surprised when I hear bad reviews on them. But the big 30's is my only experience with fabric pots and I suspect the big ones giv you much better room for error

Everything seems a bit make shift at the moment because I am working on a larger and more permanent structure to cultivate in. I was going to just put a few tents up but last minute decided to build something custom. Currently in the design process of that and construction begins this summer but for now here is a behind the scenes look lol :)20180216_094202.jpg

Mutant is such a harsh term tho... Maybe it's a "evolutionary tester" it does seem to have more surface area early on... Perhaps more photosynthesis as well. What if its nature just gifting this young plant the privilege of being unique for the sake of the future whether it proves beneficial or not?
This is why you are groing it out no?1518807485607975620302.jpg
Not likely to be photosynthetically superior but its not getting culled.
