I can not emphasize enough the importance for LIGHT proximity to the PLANT.

IF You want a big harvest using CFLS.. there should be a CFL within 1 inch of EVERY piece of exterior foliage of the plant!!

do you understand!!!!

CANNABIS grows FAST.... you will need to adjust the lights or adjust the plant daily.
This is my first grow, I'm using cfl in a 2x2x4 grow tent. I've done everything wrong, root root, nut burn, and heat stress. I've got all those problems solved. The only other thing has been light distance. Thank you for clearing that up.

Someone should unsticky all the fluoro threads.

Hasn't anyone wondered why this garbage technology still has it's own section while leds are in the "and other" section?

Make this the "other" section. Noobs shouldn't be pointed toward CFL anymore....

raise them up a couple of inches, cfl is basically a ball lighting, make sure a fan is going across the tops between the bulb and plant, that should take care of that heat stress, need to keep air moving with heat, move cooler air in as the heated air goes away...

for someone who doesn't have much money and wants to start growing, cfls are ok to go with, in time as cfls go away from the stores and such, move over to led bulbs.

my setup cost me less than 80 bucks to build, and i've done many grows with them

usually u can buy the bulbs for $5 each, some packs are about $20 but you get 4 of them in a pack. General rule is to look at that picture i put up earlier and get the same or equivalent, just make sure you get the ones where you can take the diffuser off of it, then your golden......

for the person who think this kind of tech is out dated, stfu, i've been using this stuff for 6 yrs or more and have made great grows from it, i've also taught people how to use the setup as well. I've grown cannabis, vegitables, and standard house plants with these kinda bulbs, and never had a problem.....if some one is brand new to growing i would push them here first so that way that person can learn how to grow, from this the person can grow from there......time and patience is all that's needed with these kinda of bulbs.......
