Why are blacks from the states so much different.

What do you mean in terms of different though? in the way some may act/attitude or other things.

well, it could be because the color of a persons skin has very little to do with their personality.
American "blacks" are Americans...they just happen to have more melanin than some others. why would that make them fundamentally different than any other person that lives in America? maybe African black people just don't like Americans, but they just focus on the American blacks for some reason? some expectation of kinship or similarity that isn't there, for cultural reasons?

Well the reason I think is because they are rasied walking 6miles for water each day. Plus wars famine and hunger. And well americans are spoiled.

Blacks in the state vs over seas? Notice any differences? I have been here for 20 years now and still dont get it..
Where are you?

Black Culture that exists in the USA doesn't exist anywhere else.

If you ask many African Americans about their heritage, many will proudly speak about all aspects that make up their unique African - American Culture. Even though America is supposed to be the " melting pot" , what actually happened was most Social/ Cultural groups still maintaining their Cultural Heritage, as greater than their new found American title. With the way Racism panned out in the USA, for African American Citizens, naturally they would seek their true roots ( over American Imperialism & Slavery) .

For example, in England, if you ask A black man how it feels to be black in England, the response is " What are you on about mate, I am English? "

Their skin color has zero effect on their perception of themselves, or the way they act or live their life.

maybe we are spoiled. we've improved our country so we don't have to walk 6 miles to get water, past lions and crocodiles. maybe that was a mistake. maybe that keeps you all on your toes. i'll still take a 5 minute walk to the 7-11 for a slurpy, the worst thing i have to walk by is a crackhead.
and we may still have racism, but i don't recall us practicing ethnic cleansing on each other recently....

why do people talk like kunta kinte was hanging there getting whipped last week? no one alive in the united states right now has ever been a slave (in the classical cotton plantation sense of the word). no one alive in the united states right now has ever owned a slave (in the same sense of the word). i doubt most peoples grandparents were even around for that. why are we trying to keep this division alive between us? you should never forget the past, but you also shouldn't live in it. there's a difference between using the past as a lesson on how to live now, and using it as a reason to keep the division active.
you talk about American imperialism and slavery like you've personally experienced it. got any recent examples?
then you use Britain as an example of enlightenment? the biggest imperialist since the Roman empire? read some more history, and get back to me

It has nothing to do with American Blacks - it has everything to do with American Culture. Poverty in America is big business, it allows for the rich to get richer. There is only one way out of poverty. "Work your fanny off", be it educations, grunt work or gaining marketable skills. In America they make you think they will keep the handouts coming. They train the poor to look at unfairness and complain instead of working 2 jobs.

I grew up very poor. Our big dinner was toasted bread, ketchup topped with a slice of American Cheese. We called them 'Rabbits'
