your plant cant continue to harvest after it is harvested, once the plant is stripped its no longer of any use and you start over again

C02 isn't a necessity. It obviously helps, but you can still grow fat buds without it(I have). Maybe hold off until you have a full grow or two under your belt.

yea i heard about just spraying with carbonated water and talking to them constantly cause i only have 112 cubic square feet and there really is no need for a generator or co2 tank.

I have a dr120 4x4 and i have 3 fans exhausting and two intake...

pics

I wired up 3 fans in this pic... 1 before the light sucking air from the tent through the light... then another after the light..sucking air straight out... and another behind the light above it sucking hot air out...

you can see both fans..

I dont need a carbon filter.. If i do u put sheets of it on the exhaust ends...

i have two intakes.... 2 500 cfm 8 inch intakes hooked up to 6 inc h reducers and set on the floor with a bug screen on the end sucking air in to the cabinet... there are 2 of these .1 on each side..

I realize that i have more air pushing in than out but the plants love it and the tent doesnt suck in as much now....

Here is the pic of the intake

so lets say i have my exhaust and intake fan runnin great venting the room fine, should i still leave windows open in my cabinet or would it just matter on the temp?

oh i just opened the windows for the pics... I keep evertyhign cloesed except for 1 flap on the bottom..liek it shows in the pic.... that has a bug screen on it and my biggest fear is getting bugs in there!...hehehe.. so i keep everyhting closed up ... good luck buddy

when you flower you need to close all windows and light sources.... just leave the fans running for c02 ... I dont know why some poeple turn air movement off?? Doesnt it blow wind at night?

thanks man but one quick question, for a room of 112 cubic square feet and a regular hood with no cooling reflectors with 400 watt hps and mh would 2 fans (one a 170CFM as exhaust and one around 80 CFM for intake) be enough to keep the temp right, i guess i would have to run the light and see how high the temp gets

well you kinda did the math yourself there.. I would want to say NO
The only reoson i say this is because of the other equipment...the 6 inch sealed hood like a cooltube or liek the one i got are design for that heat not to get to your plants... 400 watt light bulbs do bust out some heat... I had that 400 watter in the little cabinet next to the dr120 before... i had 2 170 cfm fans blowing air in 2 170 blowing out and it worked well...but not in the summer time... hot hot hot... but then again thats because any air you get is hot... even if you blow hot air in blah blah... anyway .. back to your question...

I would get a better hood... those square server fan type are pretty loud.. I would go with those duct fans from homedepot... I got the 8 inch... but you could probably get away with the 6 inch... I dont know.. I would go witht he 8 inch really.. its 500 cfm for 37$.... anyway... the dr150 is a nice tent... double of mine i beleave... are you only going to put 1 400 watter that has a dual hps mh ballast that you will switch out the bulb...or are you putting 1 400 hps and 1 400 mh... With that tent you could put 2 600 watters in there... although 2 400 would be more than enough.... cause they arent any bigger than 4 feet wide...

damn im medicated so much that im blabling hehehe... ok ask me something else..

well what i have is a 112 cubic square foot grow hut for my closet, and i would be getting one hood that i can switch out the 400 hps and 400 mh, if i get an air cooled hood i may not have to upgrade my fans, but i may still want to just to make sure, this is going to be my first grow and i want to be prepared

and i just realized that if i get an air cooled hood and one 400watt hps and mh its only guna be bout 170 total, on ebay they got both bulbs sellin for bout 15 bucks each by discount lights and the hood bout 130, oh wait thats without a ballast

dude..what the hell did you spend 2500 $ on... although its pretty easy to do.. what made you get alight without a good hood?

ok man.. i just looked at the dr150... thats a 5x5 tent... you need at least a 600 watt... not 400... 400 covers a 3x3 600 a 4x4 and 1000 covers a 5x5... although those measures i have seen that with good reflection and rotation of the plants youll be fine... damn man.. who the hell coached you when you spent 2500....

na thats not me man, lol my boi accidently used my account when he posted that, paulioni is the one with the 2500 setup, i have a different setup and just realized that i also have to get a ballast, my room is 112 csf (4X4X6.5) guna be my first grow with snow white, im guna get a supersun air cooled reflector like yours, with 400 watt for the hps and mh, the size on the hood is 6" so i should get a 6" inline exhaust fan and 4" inline intake fan?

i would suggest better grow hydro .. so your putting the tent inside a closet?
If so thats fine.. you just need a little longer ducting...NO big deal.. but definately more fans... are you able to cut holes in the walls? or just window access?

if you showed a pic of the room it might help... Im here for ya man!... hehehehe..
