I have recently discovered since joining here that I'm using about half the wattage I should be ... my lights only draw an actual 110w from the wall two of them at 220w is not enough for my 2x4x5????? If I move my lights closer to the tips will it help the buds to develop larger??? To the edge of light burn/stress? I have 2 vanderlife 600w 110w actual draw. Full spectrum and 2 successful grows with pitiful harvest hardly 2 oz with 4-6 plants...

Yeah man better off with more light. What kind of yields are you getting from them lol. Also moving the light closer can work but every light has an ideal distance for spectrums/heat etc

With high quality LED I aim for 35 watts per square foot. Lower quality LED may require more wattage.

Remember that with LED you want your canopy temps a little higher than with HPS. This can make a huge difference in yields if the plants are too cool.

2X4=8sq ft
30w sqft X 8 =240W..
You're close, but these numbers are for more legitimate, newer LED diodes like Samsung LM301B's.

Well no I figured two of them would be sufficient but I'm realizing my buds are continually small

I would if anything go with one plant per light with the ones you have and train the tops to be even. Honestly a HPS/MH will get you some good numbers.

try starting with a pack of the qb 132's by HLG with an appropriate driver. On the website on horticultural lighting group they even have a tutorial. This will be worth it . If all you want to spend is 50$ for a grow light you get what you pay for
