not as ready as I'd like, but I probably won't get 7 more days out of these 5 ladies in this little tray. I'll probably take down 5 in the next day or two. like 25 more to go. poop lol

My brother swears by milk and water for pm
Hopefully no one gets PM its horrible to deal with. I'd rather deal with aphids than PM. But the milk and water trick is one natural way I hadn't tried. My experience is that one should never use hydrogen peroxide foliage application or Green Cure, or baking soda mixed application in flower, it nukes the trichs and growth of the bud sites. Cheers :weed:

haven't had PM. a few spider mites and a few thrips. both pretty much raped my plants lol. I took those out and the rest is good. going to start chopping maybe next week20200103_075350.jpg20200103_075413.jpg

Lookin good :peace:
so I keep scoping out my trichomes and I'm on day 65...dark heart nursery tag that came with is strange said it was 56 -70 day strain. maybe I'm just being silly but I really feel like I have zero Amber still other than maybe here there from them being damaged or manipulated... and I'm somewhere between cloudy and milky but I'm definitely not where I think I should be for being basically done.. any advice here? many of the fan leaves are dying off but many of them are still doing fine

The seed banks suggest a window of x,y. This is based on the average flower cycle within "their" environment, yours maybe different. Going amber is of ones personal preference. Some say that the trichs are degradated in this stage, idk. I think that the fact that the fan leaves dying are just the life cycle of the plant. When the pistols have completely receded and the catalyst are no longer swollen its ready. Some strains simply won't amber up like other strains. But I wouldn't go longer than 11wks. This is my opinion but what I do is not begin flower cycle count until pistols pop, I never begin the clock/calendar when I switch to 12/12.

They look tasty man! Nice job. I’d give them another week-week and half and scope them. They look close but you’d be surprised what they can do in a week mores time!

I keep checking and checking them, and I'm just baffled they're not ready yet, not rushing them but super glad I did not have to pull them early like I thought I would have to the last week of January

patience is one of the hardest parts of growing. I really think it takes a lot of plants under your belt, and plenty of smoke in jars before its easier to sit back and just wait it out. Ripening doesn't happen as fast as some people let on. It takes weeks and isn't something you can mess up by missing a few days. However once you have experienced properly ripe buds vs not you will never think about harvesting early again :).

Update with pictures (lol notpictures but it's what I can do). Ran into spider mites for the first time... but pretty much have gotten those taken care of by this point also my tops are too close to my light and they're as close as I can get to the ceiling so they are getting a little bit fried.... All lessons to be learned for the next cycle . 18 days into flower. I know I'm going to have little airy wispy buds because there's so much going on and light/space is limited. I think on the next run I'm going to do 36 plants still but with a second 4x8 and 2 additional lights.

Still looking for potential yield estimates as the thread progresses and I update. I just don't understand some of the comments saying that I would only get 4 grams per plant? but I'm going in with open eyes that just does not seem correct to me though I can see more than that just in pre buds right now. Possibly I misunderstood .View attachment 4423406View attachment 4423407View attachment 4423408View attachment 4423409View attachment 4423410View attachment 4423411View attachment 4423412View attachment 4423413

If their getting to close to the light super crop everything to tall down a foot or so and attach some bamboo sticks to them. That should support them and get em oit of the danger zone. Then eventually you could run some yoyo's from them colas if need be.

FINALLY DONE!!! quick photo of trim job weight after it's all said and done and curing... came out with about 1200 grams total, weird lighting throughout the grow, but averaged (conservative ish) about 1.5g/watt. pretty happy with this. learned a lot and will do again . quick trim, just me smoking it, don't mind lack of bag appeal lol. 20200115_005454_HDR.jpg
