Need some advice on good lights. Nothing over 120 a piece . If can help
Honestly I bought some from amazon and I have 2 of them. They work great. A little small but one does great for 3 plants. Currently have them in 2 gallons. But will move them to 5 gallon paint buckets . I have 6. So that’s why I have 1 for 3 plants. So 2 total

Buy a mars ts 1000. Great value, under 150 depending on your location. I just pulled 13 zips off the equivalent light only mine is 300 watts (tsw2000) instead of the ts 1000 being at 150 watts. Look for a discount code on RIU. I saw one posted just the other day on here.

I think you guys have it backwards. You want a full spectrum. LED’s do not get hot like other lamps but provide you with better light and and color they need for the stages you want.
full spectrum are great.

Surely you aren't referring to blurples as full spectrum...

Purple tech is outdated the diodes are better these days without the purple light. Samsung figured out full spectrum without purple tinge. 3000k is for flower 5000k + is for veg... Screen Shot 2020-07-19 at 8.31.33 AM.png

Blurple is not full spectrum, white is. Blurples are obsolete, inefficient and normally low quality with diodes driven hard and cooled with cheap fans that can fail. They can veg ok but tend to fall short in flower.

What wattage and how many u rec on a 4x4 area 3 plants?
I dont think he was suggesting to use CFL's. Rather saying that before spending on blurples, CFL is a better choice. But still not a great choice. You can pick up a small HPS setup for your budget and be miles ahead of CFL or shitty quality LEDs. That being said, save your money and buy quantum boards. You will not regret it

Just bought . Hope I have lushes buds! 3 NL auto in 4x3 grow space. Should be enough to help along my girls. I am growing in a fireplace and vent fan carries air out chimney and other fan brings air in. 80 degree and 60% humidity.

good luck friend! you'll be happy with it,

as a side note, that light works really good for 1 plant maybe 2, tops. For 3 its definitely at its limit and could benefit from at least double that wattage. budget can be an issue for sure, i get it. should get a decent amount of bud regardless.

"Full spectrum" isn't really full spectrum unless it covers the entire PAR range. Most white phosphor LEDs are not full spectrum as they lack almost anything below about 430nm. Just sayin'
Agreed. Needs to be white but not regular white leds alone. Either the BroadSpectrum whites or enhanced or both to catch the 380 range. The 470nm plays a big role imo too, which regular white are known for their "Cyan Gap. Prefer to have n/ir too.
Full spectrum = 360nm-850nm for our plants. 400-740 is nice too!
Not burples. Why thhey call the least full spectrum a "full spectrum light" is beyond me, @TMoney69 .
That Mars will do you just fine. Suprised no-one mentioned SpiderFarmer. Its a Mars upgrade, also a budget light.
Good luck. They both have a decent spectrum. Just not a true full spectrum.
