first grow here and things are going pretty well so far everyone seems healthy enough...I’ve read a lot on topping and lst and I’m thinking at thevery least my largest plant may be ready to start, anyone have any thoughts on whether or not I’m good to top and begin training?! Thanks in advance for any input! This community has been a huge help starting this up!

just start bending them over, an autoflowering plant hasnt got a lot of time to repair itself, best off just bending the plant over and useing all the shoots that will fill the space
this is from bagseed so I’m not sure strain and if it’s auto or photo...any telltale signs I can look for? These guys are roughly 30 days from germ

Pretty safe to assume you have a regular bean and not a auto. You should start to see pre-sex flowers soon. Look for white pistils at the internodes.

Cant believe no one has bashed him for the burple. If its bagseed its most likely photoperiod. Go ahead and top em whenever you want.

oops my bad. still the same info for photo, new branches growing that close together will come together with the main top to form a nice plant. but it depends on the growing space the op has

4x4 tent, the blurple I came across with the tent and ventilation setup for only 100$. Going to get a higher quality light for flowering. Go ahead and burn me if you’d like but I got 3 lights a tent and vent for 100...it’s my first grow wasn’t trying to lose my shirt purchasing stuff for the setup... I’ve read enough to know blurple isn’t ideal. But for now I’ve got a couple healthy plants, and a wallet with a few extra bills in it so I’m content

You are correct lol. Next time I’ll get out my Portrait Lights, thanks for all the feedback you guys are making me feel more comfortable about how things are going, I’ll be posting updates after a few days....also gonna be transplanting the biggest into a fabric pot, you think I should wait a few days before topping/training to make sure she (hopefully) stays healthy?

Hell yeah thats a farming attitude. Get a few yields, cut back on spending money on weed, save that money, buy better equipment and not see a hole in your savings. Thats my kind of thinking.

Your plants are growing slow though. My plants look like that in 14 days. Half the time. You will want to upgrade soon.

Even just your average phone camera flash will usually get a pretty decent picture.

Once they stop looking like a seed and more like a plant its pretty safe to either pinch the top off or cut a decent top off completely. Whatever works for you best at the time. Looking healthy!!

sorry for the blurple...began lst a bit, I’ll get better pics later but after a few hours in the light they’ve straightened up towards the sun gods. So should I continue tying down daily? I wanna make sure the new growth sees the light...I’ve got a few large fan leaves blocking light I’ve debated trimming orjust pulling aside...thoughts?

Yea I got a great deal...4x4 tent, 4” and 6” fans 4” and 6” carbon filters, 3 “300”w LEDs, a monkey fan, and some wires....I got really lucky...my plan is to move 2 of the leds into maybe a 2x4 tent for veg, one led for clones/sprouts, and then have flowering in the big tent, still not sure which light I want to go with for flowering...
