Not the same kind of flavor as improperly grown, dried or cured bud. Just not my flavor.

Don't overwhelm yourself with things you read on the internet. Get growing. Autos on your first grow may be hard.

I chose autos bc I would like to harvest as fast as possible. I’m tired of paying for overpriced smoke. Why not grow it myself. So autos is more convenient for availability and savings for me.

Nope I need game on all that. I have 4 autos in day 3-4 seedling stage. They are in FFOF and I dusted taproots and top dressed with great white. That’s all I have done so far.

does FFOF have nutes in it already? in my outdoor greenhouse for veggies, i use an all in one from Kelp4less. it has kelp, humic acid and amino acids.

Only if you get them all the way to the pipe. Otherwise learning how to handle a ticking time bomb with live ammo isn't the best approach.

Yes FFOF is a “hot” soil. It has all the nutes it needs for first month. Some ppl don’t add any nutes to it. Not sure ab kelp and acids tho

so like i said, i'm not a dirt guy. and not to knock dirt, but how in the hell do you know when the FFOF soil runs out of nutes? by the time you saw the plant reaction, it would be almost too late to fix. that's why i love hydro.

U add a little and progressively add more. I guess u just have to take chances.

Autos do not grow any faster than photo plants grow that’s a myth

I used to grow in ffof and I would start feeding once the plant hit the third fourth node never had a issue with plant deficiency or toxicities, I would plant seed directly into too it’s not as “hot”as some people would make you think it is

I've grown many strains under 24hrs light and they love it, rudiralis afaik the key gene in autos originate from Alaska where it's 24hrs of light in the growing season?

it started in russia/asia area. i think ruderalis can/is growing in any of the far north lands (maybe far south too) with the 20 hrs of daylight+ in the summer

C3 plants do not need a dark period but they do need time to repair, exceeding DLI will push damage past repair.

In studies they found that not much extra growth happened after 20 hours and for cost purposes deemed this the best light cycle. Those extra four hours were thought to be lost to plant repair over growth.
