My friends call it Polypoid so that’s what I’m sticking to. I don’t like the word fasciation and that’s not the title of this thread .

I’m my biggest Bud is polypoid and I have never had one before. I have been growing weed for over a decade and grown lots of different strains.

it hasn’t been until this past year I have had friends grow them and I was wondering why I have never seen them before and wonder why I got this suddenly myself.

Go ahead and keep putting out that disinformation then. You’ve been corrected why not accept it? Curious. Fasciation is a separate condition usually hormonal, genetic, possibly even affected by a bacteria, virus, fungi, or even certain mite infestations or chemicals. To be clear a Polyploid just means more then 2 sets of chromosomes. There- I did your work for you, enjoy.

Thanks I thought it was neat. My honest opinion it's not a desired trait/occurence/mutation.. But as you've pointed out as well as others it's quite fascinating.. Also there is a difference between the two. I don't think it's all that important besides the fact it's undesirable to grow.
