Why doens't everyone have an indoor raised bed?

I grow in pots and narrow beds indoors.

At first I loved the beds and found 2 plants to work the best for me.
If I had the 4x4 beds I’d do 4 plants.

Now after a number of grows with them I’m thinking of going back to 10g pots for the whole room.
Just being able to spin a pot or slide it out the way is priceless for me.

They are definitely great for growing in and handy for certain styles.
Good point, ever since I've gone to the 10 gallon pots the mistakes have been few! I don't even filter my water anymore (was really anal about just using reverse osmosis) I now use straight tap (here comes the arrows) let it sit in 5 gallon bucket for a few days before use. I can only imagine how good, or better a larger volume of soil could help me.

Got this all going... what you cats think on time to fill out this grid? Using soil based on peat moss, homemade compost from my hobby farm, worm castings (some of mine, some normal commercial some coloco) organic tomato tone, crab meal, alfalfa, kelp, whole bag of grow Kashi under the straw.
Are you Photosyntech?

I have a 4x4 grassroots raised bed just itching to be set up, and this looks awesome, nice grow there. Mine would be set up in the garage during the fall winter months (in the 4x8 but I've kinda outgrown (undergrown?) it and wanting to do a 4x4 instead this year). The 4x2 is my indoor summer grow setup at the moment. Is your 4x4 elevated or sitting on the ground? Nice grow there.
It is on the ground in a cool basement. I made my one run off tray out of som spare 1 x 6s I had and pond liner. I also have a space like that, that I am only using half of. I might add a second bed eventually. The one very pain in the ass with the bed is getting all the damn soil in there lol what a back ache

You can cut a piece of ply slightly larger than the bed and screw 6 or so 2x4’s to the bottom to keep the beds off cold floors.
Works great on freezing concrete floors in the shed in winter and is cheap.
I am HOPING I don't have an issue in the winter, but I have had to heat my room in the winter especially during dark cycles. In an ideal world, I want to install a new breaker or a small breaker panel and put in base board electric heating, this past winter I had an infrared space heater I used.

Jeremy @ BuildASoil on YouTube really has me contemplating a no-till raised bed. But for now, small pots with coco is clean, "mobile" and it's easier for me, at least for now. I'm still trying to "learn" growing before I totally switch my medium and feeding style.
They are great! And after this grow I am 100% a build a soil fan boy lol also found out today they do payment plans! Well I will be sending them money forever now... so many cool organic products, that support great people!
