Firstcav im a huge jerky fan. Can i ask what kind of shelf life you get with a low sodium recipe. I don’t have a sodium problem but my jerky doesn’t last all that long anyway so why not cut out some salt. Looking into this
I love making venison jerky. Ain't meant to last long. Take some hunting, you pass it around, goes quicker than handing out money. I swear.

My problem is I stash it everywhere and forget where I put it like a squirrel. I put some in the truck, in my boat, in the barn, in my hunting shacks...then I'll stumble across a bag and have a decision to make. How safe is this to eat, and how hungry am I??? I don't make it as often as I used to when I was in the hunt club. Now I just hunt a couple times a year if I'm lucky with Wounded Warriors and a great group called Wheelin Sportsmen for paralyzed and limited mobility hunters. I still make enough to keep myself and my few friends happy though.

Well, if you ever have a wounded warrior or disabled hunter, I'd be glad to guide in Western Mass.

Sweet sausage and eggs, maple toast, big glass o milk.
I don't think I have ever seen maple bread, but it sounds pretty good and I'm going to look for it!

Can't wait for fresh tomatoes. Great sandwiches, plain with mayo or BLT's! I have a ways to go before I'll have any of my own, but might have to hit the farmers market....Which I just realized, is RIGHT NOW!!!! Best get my arse in gear!!
