Unless you're adding beneficial bacteria, the tea just has organic material that feeds the bacteria in the substrate. Thats why tea smells like shit after a couple days, its being colonized by bad bacteria.

Hydro is done sterile, with salts, because sitting water is prone to bacterial growth, more so when there's literal shit in it. Salts aren't useful to bacteria, but in absence of beneficial bacteria, the bad stuff is left to run amuck.

This isn't to say hydro sterile isn't possible, its just a difficult solution to a very simple problem. Theres no real added benefit to going hydro organic as opposed to doing either separately.

I used to use the bato buckets with a recirculating res, which are much like hempy buckets, and it worked great but no organic nutes, all salts. I decided to try organics for a bit, so after some research went with a sip setup. You should take a look, I think for organic soil grows it’s about as easy as you can get. It’s not hands off by any means, but neither is organic hydro. And I agree with everyone else, there’s not much use using hydroguard and teas together.

Thought about ecery process possible I'm going to probably go through them all dwc included and aeroponics trying to puck and choose my dabbles lol Dibble here n there and I'm in over my head

I'd thought that brewing the tea was brewing the benifical bacteria hence the bubbles and they swing the force of good bad bacteria until nature does its thing and balances everything out again, but my statement stands in curiosity if the water is never left stagnet with air stones and or a continues waterfall in the res and controller

P.s .... bug identification please ??? Lil fucker I don't know how he's alive I had a no pest strip in there for a week straight 1 each tent and 1 in the living room the tents are in I know because after a day or 2 fumes started too get at me even ya ya I know I shouldn't breath it esp past 4 hours but ive consumed much worse chemicals in my stupidity days a little to get rid of a situation didn't bother me besides I foliar and mist often enough it'll have washed off by flower time ... I know this goes against my organic side of things but I used 4 5 different methods and was still seeing nibbles on my leaves while meter finding a single alive bug after the 4 initial catapillers I'd tried Spinosad both in res and spray with suffacant, altering between spino, cold pressed neem oil in a res change and spray, used habanero spray PITENT af spray and iso 50 50 water I just couldn't shake leave nibbles I'm learning about continual I'm care but I'm shocked too see this lil thing come running after I lifted bucket to raise it .... 20221117_105841.jpg

Damn I killed it instinctively instantly rather search and be wrong, it's a centipedes afraican tail species I downloaded a app let me identify with a picture super cool.
I've noticed no more leaf damage since I used the NPS for a solid week and yes I turned off exhaust left tents open and had 3 In a huge living room for a week they are now bagged up and hence why I started foliar spraying esp with great white and hydroguard,

P.s I have orca arriving today for the res ✌

Now that I'm running flower mode I'm using my ozone generator in the living room I know too much is harmful for me and not to have it directly in the tent with the plants but will the "ozone" created be toxic for not just mold but pests, I know it's great for bacteria and mold I'm also using 2 quality air purifiers 1 big 1 small in the living room won't be having none of that PM 16687093749714930205614611215371.jpg16687093921314794273992425803610.jpg20221117_112642.jpg
