One of my all time favorites has to be sour cream mixed with onion soup mix, and sit overnight in the fridge.

Hi, my name is GWN and I'm an addict. (first words said at a DA (dipping anonymous) meeting.
I remember at about age 7-8 my mom made it for a new years eve treat, and I was hooked. I remember her saying "don't eat to much, it's rich, it will make you sick"....and then later "I told you so" as I was puking. Mom was always right!!

But it's still my favorite dip to this day, and I have to have sour cream on baked taters and tacos.

I am still too cheap to get a Yeti. I was tempted during Prime days but I can't rationalize the cost. My coffee is almost always gone before it ever gets cool.
Protip: Pick up an Ozark Trails brand from Walmart. Just as good as the Yeti and its like $8. You can also get flippy lids that seal it up for a couple bucks. I own like 10 of them and have a minor addiction to my cup. I have to have my iced tea or water with me everywhere I go.

How much do.you have to eat before getting sick. I'll sit and eat a whole pound of French onion dip and not have any problems. I do.kinda have the stomach of a stray dog, though. So there's that. Lol

Popped into a Michigan grow shop and they had seeds and clones for sale. That was pretty cool to see. Didn't pick anything up, but they had some ethos, thugpug, and a couple local guys stuff. The clones they had were $25 and $60. Now I'm hanging out while mom is foraging in her scrapbooking mecca that she hits every time we are in michigan. Then I got an email that my insurance premium went up $900 every 6 months. Signed in and apparently there has been a 2024 Chevy added to my account. Put a call in to my agent and am anxiously awaiting a call back.
Wow!!

Hopefully he says "Happy Birthday....Your wife bought you a new ride", or something along those lines

I was only about 7 years old, and I probably ate most of the bowl, along with God only knows what else....But I always have had a squeamish tummy. Although yes, I can eat copious amounts of sour cream nowadays

My son decided to cut a small branch off one of the Columbian plants that are flowering. It isn't close to being finished but it was just a sample for grins. He threw in a few sugar leaves to fill the joint out. I admit I don't have much of a tolerance built up but it worked pretty well. Lasted longer than I expected. If the one in the 50 gal pot outdoors isn't devoured by insects I think I have a winner. It doesn't smell like I remembered but there is no way to duplicate the growing conditions of the original. One of the clones is having an identity crisis, it doesn't believe it is supposed to be a palmate type plant. Meh, I have more.
Mornin.

Fiber internet? We are back in the woods no other homes for a mile, last few hundred feet buried line.
And they supposedly going to get fiber back here.
Well t hat would be great. So used to phone only internet these days wouldn't know how to act.
Only thing I don't like is the horticulture eye candy back there for them to see.
We are getting fiber high speed as well this fall. I've had horrible satellite internet for 20 years that run just about double the old dial up speeds of the 90s on a good day. It usually takes a few minutes for a page to load here if it has pictures and it stinks. This will be 1 Gigabyte speed and half what I pay now. I can't wait to make the phone call to disconnect the satellite internet.
We had crews all over our property a month or so ago replacing power poles as ours is running with the power lines instead of underground.

Hey - if you're collecting vet benefits you can get $30.00 off your internet with the Affordable Connectivity program.
I changed providers and applied - my internet is 6X as fast & the last two bills were like $5.00 apiece.
