If your plants are doing well then just add the organic BigBloom. If your plants start to show small signs of def's or just lighting up in color then add the TB at 1/2dose with the rest of your nutes including BB.

uno mas for ya. i added about 40% perlite to my ocean forest. the brand was hoffmans. it says it is sterilized but i think it might be burning my plants. 1. anything i can do at this point? 2. what kind of adjustments will i need to make growing wise to a medium that is 40% inert?

cheers mate!

The cfls for seedlings and veg would be 6500k daylight 26 watt they sell them at walmart, and for soil I don't know I only use fox farm ocean forest.....

Dry ice gives off co2 in very little amounts----how big is your space?

They have good genitics and the G13 is a robust-vigorous grower---please tell me about the medium you have your girls in?

you can go with the 26 to 40 watt flora's in the 2500 to 6500k light spectrum--. The black-gold-coco blend is nice if your HD carries it.

Guys, need a bit of advice again and have some pics this time. The first 3 are from 2 different plants and the last one I threw in for ha has because it looked cool. I have more pics if needed. A hydro friend and I have been troubleshooting together the last couple of days and they seem to have gotten worse. I flushed a week back when the yellowing first started and then tried to work my way back up to 3/4 strength nutes and things don't look too good right now.

Fox Farm products and OF soil.
To 3 gallons of water I add 3TBL. Big Bloom, 6 tsp Tiger, 1.5tsp Beastie Boomz, and 2 tsp of grow. This is all per the chart from their website.

I am at week 5 flower and lower older leaves are yellowing and buds are not where they should be at this point. When my buddy grew this strain in hydro with Advanced Nutes his buds were 3x the size of mine at this point. Strain is apparently White Widow and everything was going great until I started with the Tiger Bloom.

I feed usually twice a week (1 w/ nutes one w/out) till there is run off and fed them last night with a 3/4 mix of what I detailed above.

Thoughts and comments welcome and greatly appreciated. I need to get this sorted out soon as it seems my yield is definitely suffering.

Thanks in advance.

Hey Doc, I went ahead and bought some floros like you advised. I picked up 2 24" fixtures that each hold 2 T12 20 watt 6500k bulbs. So is 4 20 watt bulbs enough to start seedlings under for the first month until I move them under my 400 watt MH. I want to start with 8-10 16 oz cups. Thanks again for all your help

use it during the lights on cycle in flowering

cabinet is 18"x30"x5' metal storage cabinet
should work but use the yeast method--dry ice costs a lot more.

If you added N and your ppms are in the 1000 range then I would advise cutting the leaves and branches off the bottom--the reason is that as you said the light cant reach the very low parts of the plant and you would end up with tiny airy buds around the lower part of the plant anyway--The energy from the cutting will direct itself to the top(bigger buds):bigjoint:

switch your amounts of GB and BB for one feeding---this will green up your plants--UNLESS!!--this is a 8 week strain--If so I wouldn't change what you are doing since you will be flushing in a week anyway and yellowing is good at this point. Your buds will smoke smooth and clean.

Use 2 for the first week then fire up the other 2---Yes it will work very well until flowering.

hey doc, I'm on my first closet grow. What do you think about using a 3 liter bottle with fermenting yeast as a source of CO2?
depends on how big the closet is--the bottles would work for a small coat closet.

I use all FF products myself. But i also use Lightwarrior for better drainage i water every 3 days and mix it with OceanForest 60/40 in 5gal pot after all transplants. But in first pot i use 70/30mix and also during veg. I add more LW, i just firgure it makes roots very happy.

Dear Dr. Dank,

I was wondering which extended release fertilizer would be best for my outdoor grow. I was looking for something so i didnt have to mix my ferts by the gallon and feed my babies. Heavy Harvest seems good but I'm not sure that I want 3 10kg buckets being shipped. Which type would you recommend if any?

Thanks, Doc. My yield is looking to be so low though and yes it should be an 8 week strain. My buddy yielded more than one zip per plant and flowered them at 1ft and they ended up at 3ft when he chopped them. Now that I think about it they really haven't shown much vertical growth since I started blooming. They have been yellowing since I started using the Tiger...the smaller of the two plants I attached pics of started the earliest out of my brood, but I have others that look similar with symptoms that have come on more recently. Some of the brood seem 100% healthy with no yellowing except a bit of burn on the tips which from what I understand is sign that you are maxing out your feedings. So, I guess I just hang in there for the time being given that they are still growing, albeit a bit slow.
