Obama is going to reschedule more than likely during his term. It's not going to be his top priority, but he is pushing to stop federal raids on the states that approved it for medicinal patients, and agrees that marijuana has medicinal value.

Well a few people called me today and told me if I have been watching the news because obama is trying to legalizing marijuana state wide to tax and sell to the public. So I made this thread to find out if anyone else has heard of this.

You have something confused. Even if he was working on making it legal, it would be nation wide not state wide.

Assemblyman Tom Ammiano, D-San Francisco introduced Assembly Bill 390 here in California that would legalize and regulate marijuana. If made law, cannabis would be considered the same as alcohol in respects to possession, procurement and taxation.

Is this what you are referring to?

It won't happen overnight, I love the people who say "Oh yeah Obama will make it fully legal".

Will it be decriminalized? Possibly but fully legal, we can only dream and dream only.

Yeah we can only dream but thats ok Ive been tought that since I was a kid, nothing wrong with that. Now I cant stand obama .

that sounds hard to believe, but would be a great prospect. we could grow all the cannabis we want and the cops cant do shit about it! some people think they might regulate how great the THC concentration must be, but i dont have any idea how they would do that, and people would still grow potent shit. If obama legit legalizes this stuff he will go down in history for my #1 president.
