Interesting, mine were 2700.

Ive seen alot of lumen variance in bulbs from the same company.

There are 26W bulbs with 1650 lumens (most expensive, most recent model, shorter bulb, thinner tubes) that cost more, then some 1700 lumen bulbs, and then some 1750 lumen bulbs.. all made by GE..

Ive noticed the same shit.... ive seen 26w CFL's at walmart vary from 1,300 to 1,600 lumens. very interesting

I think the technology is just gettin better and better.... which is good for us:bigjoint:

A little over 2 weeks into flowering, these babies are really starting to take off, just found out this past week that the two big front ones are both females(hairs popping out everywhere!! FloraNova Bloom is the shit), and the back one is still currently unknown however it has nowhere near the bush that the other two have, its pretty ridiculous how bushy its getting in there. I've made clones already of both these females, knowing that Ive been flowering already, was kind of an issue, but I went ahead and did it anyways, just to have something else growing to watch haha. Feminized white widow, and Fem Dutch Passions Autoflowering Taiga coming in the mail soon, can't wait to start that up. New 150 watt hps light also goin on, has been making a difference these passed 2-3 days, glad I invested.

[uote=the40ozking408;2185535]so hes sayin flower after 5 weeks?!?[/quote]
I have alot of questioned,i just got on the site and should have been on it. I've seen alot of hydro growing pics and things but i've yet to see any pics of the aero garden crops. I've been using the systems sine 1/31/09 and started with 11 seeds, they all came up but i only have 4 left. One really big one its at the last light level,2 more smaller ones and 1 mid plant that is almost as tall as my big one. I started the mid about a wk later than the love potion. Been trying to budd them for about a month now and i really need some help and advice!!!!!! so any help is needed and eagerly awaiting comments. thanks bfs

I've seen in this FAQ and others advice not to start nutes before 2 weeks. My question is when does that time period begin? I,s it two weeks after seedlings pop up, two weeks after seeds go in, two weeks after the third Thursday of the month?

Give me something to work with here...

Also while I'm at it, can someone recommend a decent pH tester? I've read that soil testers are bunk, that aquarium testers are ok but their range is limited, and searching for pH testers I find things that are a little crazy pricey.

Thanks all... much love.

Is it unrealistic to guess that I might yield 2 to 3 oz of these 3 plants with 3 26 watt cfls, one aerogarden hood light, and 150 watt hps? I plan on waiting 3-4 more weeks before harvesting because of a new batch anxious to start, however I am really interested in my possible yield, anyone have similar plants and yield heavily?? Constructive critism please.

I'd day you could do at least 2, maybe 3, either way, should be some good results

I was kinda flying blind and didn't cut a hole in the bottom of my sponge to allow for roots, the plants have been growing for about a week and are a few inches tall. should I try to put a hole in the bottom of the sponge now?

I'll be able to tell you how my buddy's kitchen sponge experimental grow is going in a week or so. Feel free to try it for yourself though.
I've still got seven of the AG sponges, and I'm putting my first grow into flower on Wednesday (which is when I'll have money to get a figure 8 cord and timer for the lights; I'm flat broke till then). I'm also getting the Multi Spectrum Bubbleponics combo kit from Stealth when my hubby transfers the dough into my bank account (as soon as he's back from his current convoy escort stint), and I'll be using my AG for mother/clone/etc. after this. So I've got plenty of time. :) Keeping me updated about your buddy's sponge experiment results would be greatly appreciated!

Yea, its pretty much over, dead seed. Don't have any real results :/

He ran out of rockwool after he cracked some cubes open to see why some of his seeds didn't sprout, 2 of them were kind of germinated, he made a sponge-sandwich with the best looking one and the seed ended up being garbage.

OK i am at 4 weeks. I have my airstone and my ph is perfect. I had a little yellowing but i trimmed theose leaves which stop vertical growth. good for the AG. My question is when should i go 12/12. How many 5 leaf nodes?

any pics of the pants would help but you and go 2/12 when ever you want, they will just about triple in size in flowering so just calulate that into how much space you have to grow. Nodes are branches off the stalk

like this, thanks to kat
