Pineapple Express by G13 Labs

So I picked up some G13 Labs Pineapple Express which should be here in the next week.

Gonna grow it in a DWC with 2 airstones, probably 2 plants in 6" net pots in a 10 gal tote. May clone them into a second 18 plant 3" net pot 10gal tote to maximize yield, think this is a good idea?

Planning to use rockwool for germination and and then hydroton in the net pots. Ordered a TDS and the Technaflora starter kit, which I have heard good things about.

In the next week the setup will come together and launch off, so stay tuned and let me know what you think. As of now I can guarantee that there is about 5.5" of vertical space in my closet and I will be using 400w or 1000w HID lighting, though not at the same time. I plan to veg using 400w to save electricity and bloom with the 1000w for prolific budding. using a 2800ccpm air pump w/ dual outputs and dual 12" airstones.

Haha yeah seriously people are like "wtf marketing scheme what a joke". News flash, thats the point. Its just funny that they made it and while trying to decide what to order stumbling upon it was too good to pass up. Of course its hyped up in the description and not as epic as the movie makes it seem, but its pineapple express nonetheless.

Well I dont personally believe that pineapple express is a real strain, and when I say that I mean that I dont think there was any strain named that before the movie, but there are other strains out there that have the word pineapple in their name, so pineapple express could have been just a spin-off one of those strains, anyways I think g13 just slapped the name on some seeds, but still, whatever those seeds are, im sure its good.

Yeah it certainly didn't exist before the movie came out. Its just for fun anyways.

I love everyone saying "its gonna stink pineapple express is just some seeds with that name slapped on its not from the movie"...well you are right...but that doesnt mean its not potent and good genetics?

Im sure you will end up with a nice plant and some nice smoke at the end of the grow, regardless of what the strain is. Dont worry about the others trying to kill ur buzz...look forward to a smoke report.

Weather its real or fake or whaterver....Im growing some to see.....My g13 pine express is a little over two weeks old and is doing very well......just trying to deciede weather to top her or just let her go wild......Any one further along with this strain??

I found someone that is growing this on RIU
with a journal!!!

My boyfriend is growing it (outside) until we get ventilation
up and going for the tent.

She is about a week old.

and whats with everyone saying its gonna be crap?

I KNOW even if its not the best weed in the world, it will
still be a good smoke none the less.

Plus, if she is a good yeilder, we will be able to make

They say it is Pineapple Punch by The Flying Dutchmen seed company. Pineapple punch is also in High times top strains for 08, and in another issue of high times its featured as one of next year's knockouts, the picture in the the next year's knockouts looks very similar to the pineapple express in the movie. They are definatly smoking real weed in the movie its not hard to tell they are severly blazed in some scenes, both actors who play the main characters are huge smokers, james franco won stoner of the year at last years cannabis cup.

well I have this playboy issue and its like a 4 page interview with Seth Rogan, and he says it all...how it wasnt real weed in the movie and how james franco doesnt smoke...its not a big deal or anything lol but seth rogan doesnt have to lie about that...so im pretty sure james franco doesnt smoke...but he should haha

My first post woo! Anyways I don't get the bashing of the name. Do we find out where others get there name and bash them? If your a breeder and you cross some strains you gotta name it right? On to the good stuff. I'm doing my first grow (DWC 400w hps/mh) and got 4 fem seeds from attitude. Chocolope, Wonderwoman, Calif Hash Plant and Pineapple express. I screwed up and my timer way over watered my seedlings (noob mistake should have just been doing it myself). The one that survived was the Pineapple and its growing strong. The first leaves yellowed but it recovered fast and is booming. It's growing short w/ fat leaves so I'm gonna guess it's an indica dominant. Needless to say it definately has some good genetics w/e it may be if it out did those other strains. I'm gonna scrog it and let it go big. I'll be sure to start a grow journal with the clones.
