"The state of mind that follows the 2-4 hour stoned period. It usually only occurs after smoking a great quantity of weed. A burn out can last a long time - typically 7 to 12 hours after coming down from the high. The burnt out state of mind is characterized by an intense exhaustion, the inability to focus, a general mental dullness, the slight slurring of words, and a sensory numbness." - Urbandictionary.com
A good percentage of the times I smoke weed, I always have the "Burnt Out" affect after I smoke. Usually me and my friend smoke 4 bowls out of the bong though. When we smoke, we usually get so baked, so I'm going to try and do one bowl this time to see if I don't get burned.

I have heard this relating to the quality of the weed, and how much weed you do.

Do you get "Burnt out" every time you smoke?

What does it relate too?

I've never felt burnt out until recently.
I've cut down considerably, and when I don't have any for a couple of days
I get that unfocused feeling.

"It usually only occurs after smoking a great quantity of weed." ?????

I never experienced a "burnt out" before. Sometimes I wake up in the morning with my head feeling heavy after a night of heavy smoking but that's about it. I usually pack a bowl and then the feeling's gone.

I did when I first started smoking.

then when my tolerance went up, it went away.

and to the people who don't know:

he means burnt out as in feeling ridiculously tired like you want to sleep or can't do anything for the rest of the day you're so tired.

not burnt out feeling like shit.

it all depends on the strain on bud you smoke. say for instance you get a pure indica with a trichome ratio of 75-85% amber you will feel burnt out all day. that shit will make you feel medicated

Because more amber trichs give more of a couchlock high. Its usually the really heavy indicas that give me a burnout. When im just stuck to the couch during my high, I know im gonna be burned the hell out.

I only get burnt out though when I smoke alot, so really only when others are with me.

What the hell does the amount of amber trichomes have to do with anything.

The trichomes are most potent when they're milky.
amber trichomes start converting THC to CBD. when the CBD levels go up, your weed gets stonier. . .. . way stonier.

CBD enhances the body-effects of thc and lessens the mental effects.

I call it "afterburn."

I get slight afterburn any time I am ripping bongs or taking volcano bags. I actually like afterburn because it allows me to ride the high up and then all the way down.

Afterburn is difficult to explain but you still feel high at moments, or have some positive lingering effects of being high (finding things funner than normal, insightful, relaxed) long after the actual high is gone.

It is fun to ride it out. One of the reasons I don't smoke everyday is because I wait for the afterburn to cease.

I marked no but I should have voted yes. When I smoke a heavy indica my chest gets really freaking heavy and after 3 hours I am so tired. I never thought I'd say it but I'm actually prefering sativa's and cloudy harvests.

Sorry for double posting but this post is spot on. I won't smoke for the next day with my smoking buddies because I ride the burn out

I never fail to burn out after a long day of smoking. I usually have a nice fat bowl in the Bong for breakfast, then i go to work for 4 hours and come home for lunch around noon. I smoke another bowl and then eat something for lunch. Back to work till 4 o'clock. Smoke a couple more bowls when i get home and by the time i eat something for dinner i am dead tired/ cant focus at all. I usually watch tv for a few hours then smoke one more bowl before finally crashing around 10:30-11:00.
I can usually smoke around 2-3 grams a day easily. I have a 20" percolated glass bong i bought from a head shop for $80.

This pretty much sums me up except I skip a bowl pack or two. Lately I'm just " fuck this
Let's play video games " now I don't play video games. Maybe one-3 hrs a week and that Sunday morning at like 5am.
Lately I've played video games for 1-3hrs everyday. I have a laundry list of man stuff to do, but I keep telling myself "tomorrow"
