when was the last time a GOOD game came out


im so tired of everything i have..

i know there is some pretty sweet stuff coming like

bioshock 2
CoDMW 2
Diablo 3
Starcraft 2

but WHEN!!!!

section 8 is released soon but according to my experience from the beta, it gets boring within ten minutes

where are the GAMESSSSS

there are some sweet games man. what about GTA4, mortal kombat vs DC, and the new ghost busters game was pretty cool too

to Louis : i mean multiplayer games

i game sometimes 12 hours on my days off so i need something with replay value


same to the poster above me

fallout three is an awesome game and great eye candy but little to no replay value


so i guess thats my complaint

the replay value is going into the shitter

fallout lasted me about maybe 20 hours of total playtime before i was tired of it

buy a pc.. dont be disapointed.. play around with graphics... more fun than a console.. :) + u can design your own stuff :)

no pc games to play that im not bored of already, so im waiting for a game to come out that has replay value

I know for the ps3 FIFA 10 is out mid October, The new NFS also in September.
Cod MW2 is going to be great.
I assume the dates will be almost the same on most consoles/pc.

PC is the way to go! and Diablo 3 (when it comes out) is gonna be the shit! I can't wait!

I need to build/buy a new PC when D3 comes out, what brands do you guys recommend? Dell? Alienware? etc?

I'm not too good with building computers so I may just have to buy a pre-built one. (I'm a girl WTF do you expect).

My budget is around 2500 for a good monitor + tower.

shit, buying something with that kind of money will be alright

but if with 2500, some one with the knowledge could get you a serious PC with that

one that would be great for years

ask your friends or neighbors or something because building a pc yourself will literally save you thousands

Build one. You get so much more for them money. If you shop around for the parts, get the best price on everything, you could pay someone to put it together and still come out ahead.

I have a bong that looks A LOT like the one in your avi.

ok ok ok, I guess I'll have to hunt somebody down who can tell me exactly what to buy. I'd like to build the best set-up possible for the full 2500$. I have been putting money aside for quite awhile to blow on the computer so it's crucial I receive top notch quality!

3.3 GHZ Processor, 6GB Tri-Channel DDR3 ram, 750 GB Hard Drive, Dual 1024 MB Video Card, etc.



That's the minimum I'd like to have... is it possible for the price? (2500)


I'd also like to buy a widescreen HD monitor... maybe 21"?

I hear you. Specifically the GTA games which I bought a ps2 for the sole reason of playing have not been up to par. San Andreas was kinda a step down and had little problems, like crashing my plane in the middle of the fucking dessert and no gernades to kill myself wtf? Then GTA4 was just a complete let down to me, I know they put a lot of work into it with the named streets and realistic driving but it lacked that cartoony effect the others did that made it an enjoyable fun game to play. Vice City was the best GTA ever, hands down.

Left4Dead is fucking fun for a good while if you haven't played it yet, but a new one is coming out too.

I had a shit load of fun with Prototype, rent it if you haven't played it but once you beat it there's really no point to going again.

Um. I like Saint's Row 1 and 2, a lot of people don't but they have so many spare activities so it has a good amount of playing time.

And my all time favorites, COD. I traded in 4 so all I got is WAW and it's awesome especially the zombies (wunderwaffle time). Although I am getting to 10th prestige (on 9th and level 50something) so today I ordered Deus Ex for the PC which I never beat. Deus Ex is a fun ass game if I remember correctly.

yea I did that.. But in 6 months it was "old" .. I will NEVER buy another video card/cpu/mobo etc untill it has been out for AT LEAST 1 year.. Fuck paying 580.00 for a video card ( 8800GTX ) and 3 months later it wont sell for over 160.00 on ebay.. The PC hardware market is moving way too fast and video card makers are some of the biggest crooks out there imho.. There marketing practices are borderline illegal. Now nvidea has "SLI".. talk about rip offs.. you pay 100% more for a second GPU ( video card ) only to get a mere 15% increase in fps.. lol.. Damn crooks. Eventualy, the way things are headed, you will need to buy a new video card for each new game.. LOL.. Its almost at that point now.
