I don't look for public approval, of my private life, so what makes gays thing they are so special? Insecurity. They can't accept themselves, as they are, and trying to force everyone else to accept it won't change those feelings.

Of course psychology was one of the first disciplines to study it... That's kind of the point of psychology - to study the mind. Remember that modern psychology was birthed by Freud who absolutely obsessed about sex and sexuality and decided everything was caused by it.

You should maybe actually read into gay history a little bit before you decide you know all about it. For fear of persecution gay people have been hiding from public view for well over a century and this debate has been argued within those circles long before the 1960s.

No, it quite obvious to tell the difference between someone who disagrees with gay marriage because they blindly follow some book, and those that are actually homophobic. I don't hate Christians. I make it a point to not stereotype people based on categories or "groups" they may belong to.

My own mother and sister are both devout Christians. They also believe ye shalt not judge lest you yourself be judged. They also believe that God should be the one judging, not other imperfect, fallible humans.
