yea i saw that one you got 15 grams dry? ive seen other auto grows with plants around 3 feet tall but they yielded around 2 oz dry

I veged under a 150 HPS and it got huge.. half way into flowering i went out and dropped 300 on a 400 ballast and cooltube... so i chopped early for some unseen circumstance and now im starting over... only this time i got a 400 MH bulb.. so far all 6 have sprouted and they are staying tiny .. then agian they are only a few days old... i totally got fuged on my yield

i didnt veg mine under a mh i used cfl for the first 3 weeks or so then it went under the hps they are pretty small when they start then they should blow up but you would know that since youve grown before in soil the grow rate is slower than hydro which is the reason you got a 3 foot bush those half gallon grow bags are pretty good but i would start seedlings in dixie cups first than straight to the grow bag that way you toss any unwanted males and not waste so much dirt and ive also read that seedlings like to find the walls of the containers which should help them grow better root systems im like 70% sure thats right but im high right now so dont quote me on that right now lol

yea mine were going to originally be at 9 but i had to harvest mine a lil earlier what kind of nute are you using and what medium are you using?

i ended up with 16 grams dried which is really close to what i predicted

Does anyone know, would I be able to grow an AF outside? I was thinking of getting like ten seeds and just having a steady stream of buds come in over the summer while I have my regular plants to harvest come falltime. It would be so amazing!

AF strains are GREAT for outdoors. They stay small so its easy to hide them, they finish in about 10 weeks no matter what season it is (as long as its warm enough for them to stay alive). I have one growing outside now and it looks a bit pathetic due to the colder weather and bugs, but it is thriving otherwise!Does anyone know, would I be able to grow an AF outside? wuz wondering if 600 watts mh/hps in a tent style grow is sufficient enough to grow 5 auto kush and 5 diesel ryder?

i have never breed any plants but i have done research on it. I heard the best method to take and store pollen is the following:
1. Isolate the male
2. Let a few pollen bags pop open and let the pollen spread. But keep a close eye on those pollen bags. The reason is so you know what the pollen bags look like just before they pop open so you can identify future pollen bags that will burst open shortly.
3. Watch for the next pollen bags that are ready to open up.
4. Carefully snip them off into a dark colored glass vial (jar)
5. Only take the rippen ones ready to burst.
6. Once youve taken as much pollen as you want. (may take days or weeks at most) then your done with the male plant.
7. I forgot ifyou must wait a few days or if you can use it immediatly
8. Once your ready to pollenate then isolate the female and turn off all fans
9. take a fine tipped small paint brush and dip it into the vial of pollen and stir it up to break all pods open
10. Tap the paint brush to remove excess pollen and paint the HAIRS of the bud
11. You can do the whole plant or just one bud this way. (to do the whole plant simply forget the above instructions and put both the male and female plant together in an isolated room, and let nature do the rest.)
12. After a few days the hairs will die and that means the hairs took the pollen and you should get seeds.
13. Collect the seeds that fall off the plant. They will simply drop to the ground during late flowering.
14. Put the seeds on a plate and let them cure for a few weeks before using.
15. put remaining pollen into dark vial glass so no sunlight beams thru and place in fridge

that growth on the top arnt hairs they are just new growth of the actual plant if it was female it would have the pistils where the balls are and if it were a hermi they would have both on the same node or a node above the other one but that looks like a male for sure

Definitely. I am currently growing 9 Diesel Ryders under a single 150w HPS. With that 600W you could grow as many plants as you could fit in the tent I would imagine. My "floor space" in my mini fridge is about 17" x 18.5" and Im using 2 liter soda bottles.

yamato, thats a really nice lookin diesel ryer male you have there. cross those. seeds are like 100 shipped for 10 if you pollinated that roadrunner, you wouldnt have to buy seeds for a long while. unless u wanna gro like 100 at once. kolorblind got like 450 or so seeds from 2 plants so im guessing 1 plant could make 150-300 seeds.

but how is a Dinafem Roadrunner X Lowryder#2 NYC Diesel plant gonna be in the long run

hey all lovin this tread am just startin my own grow need some helpful advice................. i recently got seeds from pyramid seeds said they were auto flower but have no clue wat strain they are so as a back up i got some lowryder 2`s i have 8 pyramids and 10 lowryders under a 600hps and digi balast . am usin regular garden center soil and bio grow and bloom as nuts all said id try root juice while they in veg any advice on how to grow wud be a big help as this is my first auto flower grow ....... ps what would the idea ph be ? cheers
