Stopwhining's bella and rhino SOG

Dont really know where to begin, I have been helping my friends dad with his indoor growing for a long while now and after growing outdoors a few times, I plan on setting myself up.

My grow room is about 10' x 14' with a 2'x3'x7' (l,w,h)closet

I built myself a 5'x5'7' (l,w,h) flowering room with a 600 watt hps in it, the actual flowering area will be about 4'x4' (l,w,h). made the room out of panda film. I am using a 6" 250cfm inline fan to vent air in from outdoors. the room is 175 cubic feet so I will be exchanging the air in the room completely with outdoor air more than once a minute. I am thinking this will be enough co2. I may add a also add a 400 watt MH later on. Im pretty sure that since I plan to keep the plants small with no side branching one 600watt hps will be great. So far my temps are staying around 78-79 degrees with my humidity around 37-39% during the day. At night temp drops to about 72 degrees with the humidity in the mid 40's.

I also have a mother area that I will be rooting/vegging my clones in as well, the lighting is a 200 watt cfl along with 2 floro's. I Plan to keep 4 mothers, two white rhino, and two belladonna. I will take 6 cuttings at a time and they will have two weeks to root/veg.

I plan to do a SOG using 2gal grow bags. I will have 24 plants in the flowering room at once. there will be four stages and the plants will remain in each stage for 2 weeks, there will be 6 plants in each stage. Sooo I will obviously be harvesting 6 plants every two weeks.

Heres a shot of my seedlings (soon to be mothers).

4 belladonna from paradise seeds 4 out of 4 germed and sprouted

4 white rhino from nirvana 4 out of 4 germed and sprouted

Great results from both companies, I am definitely liking the rockwool! They just popped up yesterday.

Also these girls right here are plants I am testing some things different things on. they are about 4 or 5 weeks into flower.

Well guys keep checking back I will have more to come. :peace:

p.s. I am to lazy to edit all this after writing all that so if anything is messed up feel free to let me know hahaha.

200W CFL-- can you use those bulbs in standard sockets or no??

Plants are looking good, keep up the photos!
actually im a moron I think its a 125 watt....I dont think the 200w fits in a regular socket. It was from my photography lighting and It doesnt even say the wattage on it so I had to check it out. I am probably going to need another but I dont know since I have 4 moms and im only takign 6 clones every two weeks they will have plenty of time to recover. Plus im using a few flouro's.

Awesome dude. Your doing a great job. I have a random plant that looks like your seedling. Big fat green leaves. They are really fat for some reason. Cant wait to see what happens. Those are gonna be some big fat buds dude!

*UPDATE*

Ok lets see...I got a new area setup for my moms...they are all doing good but I have to admit the white rhino is looking better than the belladonna at this point.

The new mom area has a 4 bulb t5 fixture I made myself. The lighting was used in a shelving unit for a jewelry store. They are 4 ft bulbs. I will fix the fact that it is held together by duct tape soon

Ive also got two new pics of the older belladonna she is doing pretty good.

Ill get more pics of the entire grow room and everything if you guys would like.

Anyways check out the pics!

I think I might pickup a new bulb for my hps pretty soon. Im not incredibly pleased with the results im getting under my 600w hps with this bulb High Tech Garden Supply

I think it runs hotter than my friends 600w hortilux bulb. I will most likely be getting a sunmaster or a hortilux, any recommendations?

UPDATE

well the babies have lots of new growth compared to the last pictures from a day or two ago. The white rhino's are still outgrowing the belladonna's. and from what I can see they all seem to be more indica as well.

WHITE RHINO

BELLADONNA

They look happy and I am happy as well. I cant wait till they get past their seedling stage and start to really grow.

Nice plants, what kinds of new stuff are you trying on the flowering girls? Or is it secret.. hehe i want to see pics of your setup. Do you always use soil or have you tried hydro before? I do mostly DWC myself, love it compared to soil grows cuz of the cleanliness and IMHO it's easier but everyone has their own way.

Ive always used soil....Im to afraid to try hydro, I dont really have the funding and I am afraid I would either burn them or not give them enough of something. Honestly I would like to get into hydro but I dont know where to begin and im also afraid of power outages. I did make an areo cloner (it didnt work to great for me hahaha). Not messing with dirt is what intrigues me the most. And im also thinking that once I get my SOG really going I dont know what I am going to be doing with all the damn used gardening soil. Ill have to start a very suspicious looking compost pile or something hahaha.

Umm the different things I was trying on the plants were mostly flowering extra early and lollipopping. :peace:
