Some comments on dispensary prices.

I'm so tired of those bastards beating me down on price and telling me they can get "good medicine" for 3500 or less. This "good medicine" is coming from a massive warehouse where the whole point is to get weight as fast as possible. I've seen some good warehouse gear but it doesn't compare to what comes out of a small operation that has access to good genetics. And at the same time the dispensaries are trying to get me to lower my price they are selling zips for 400.

I am urging all boutique growers to not lower your price below 4000. If we begin to compete with warehouse prices we will have to start growing like warehouses. This is not something I am interested in doing. By lowering your price we begin to compete against one another and we all lose.

I believe customers are beginning to see the difference between our product and the warehouse's product. They will start to demand a high quality and the dispensaries will be forced to pay us what we deserve. Of course if dispensaries lower prices to the consumer I would be willing to work with them on my price.

Thanks and let me know what you think.

Sorry to get off topic here, but I have a question about a local strain. I got some clones of summit County Sweet Skunk. They look awesome! I was just wondering if anyone has experience with this strain and how long it takes to flower.

I agree about 'our' quality being better than a warehouse's, but either way, the price to the patient needs to come WAY down SOON. Seeing good stuff for 65 an 8th is infuriating; even if the dispensary was dumb enough to pay more than 4k for it, they're still turning it around to 8k. And the $50 an 8 stuff is usually cropped early and I bet was picked up for 3 to 3.5 from some random dude.

Green Karma Medical at 11th and Grant has great, 2/3 amber Jack Cleaner for about $10 a gram. It's all organic too.

As for not going under 4k, that's a great idea, but I think you'll just get shot down over and over. I've tried, believe me.

Just don't sell to the places that have a disgusting mark-up; look at their resale prices first, look at their other product first.

And think about the actual overhead involved. A 20% profit is a great return on a typical business plan. That's easily do-able, eh? :)

We are currently in the middle of opening dispensaries in Co Springs east/ and Cherry Hill Central. "Humboldt Healthcare". Time permitting i'm offering my free consulting and training services to med pats in the Denver/Co Springs area that have questions or need help with their personal MMJ grows. You can send me a email at [email protected] if you have questions or need help. I have relocated from Arcata CA and would like to help out if someone needs it. It looks as thou I might be doing some classes in Co Springs for a friend at a dispensary on saturdays but I will keep you posted on the details... VonDank

Medical value of marijuana

Font Size:Default font sizeLarger font size It is sad that Guadalupe is not going to allow medical marijuana.
Those who are against medical marijuana are real lucky. They have never had a loved one need medical marijuana. What are you going to say to your loved one when they are vomiting and in pain? Ever tried to take a pill while you are vomiting? And to top it off, there’s a good chance the pill will not help, and has bad side affects.
The American Medical Association wants the DEA to change the way we treat marijuana, so they can study it more. Marijuana has been used as a medicine for over 3,000 years without ever causing an overdose death.

Accessibility is the reason my lungs are cashed. We have all struggled with this outlaw crap all our lives. :peace:

Is cashed a mainstream word now?
example "Your eyes are cashed" first heard the word hanging out with "burn out" friends. 1975. "Munchies" was also made up by tokers.

That is sad man...i know people one in particular is my Uncle who is just a die hard alcoholic has two refrigerators specifically for beer and it's always full...he use to argue with me about how marijuana is bad because it's illegal and that inhaling smoke is worst for you...and basically argue in favor of alcoholism...and all i have to do is break out the number figures and schoolem.

about two years ago he was diagnosed with a debilitating degenerative disc (caused by arsenic found in the beer he drinks) weird they actually put that in there but they do....and he basically can't sleep can't eat and was always miserable... it took a long time but he gave in to getting a card and He now explains to me that he couldn't imagine being able to live life with out the herb...and almost everytime I see him he reminds me that he wishes he hadn't been so stubbornly ignorant in his comments

MileHigh,

My mother is in her 70's and has a ton of stuff wrong with her. She's on about 12 different prescriptions , and spends a lot of time hurting even with the meds. She caught me by surprise a couple weeks ago because she brought up medical marijuana because her doctor talked to her about it. Now, you have to understand that my mom was one of those people who had absolutely no use for illegal drugs and would have come down on us like a ton of bricks if she had ever caught any of us smoking pot (she did nail one of my cousins who lived with us, and it was ugly), so to hear her say "I couldn't smoke it because of my lung and breathing problems, but i could eat it" totally floored me. I never expected to hear either of my parents say anything positive about MJ, so it gives me a lot of hope for the future.

I am looking to pick up a few more MMJ patients, and as such I am offering my high quality strains of medicine at very low prices to new customers, in hopes of finding a few more patients.
I currently have 2 strains available, Jack Flash and Orange Bud, and I am looking to part with these meds at $12 Jack Flash and $10 a gram for Orange bud, or $275/ounce Jack Flash, and $250 ounce for Orange Bud.
I am located near Boulder and will deliver the meds for no charge on any order over $100 in the Denver/Boulder area.
Please contact me on rollitup and I will give you personal contact info.
Must have valid card or paperwork of course.

I know of a place to buy your supplies that will treat you right and keep the cost down it is located at 6271 beach st unit F Denver co it's called Hygrow. They have some of the best prices in town. They also carry FoxFarm also Roots and Happy Frog for dirt. They also carry most of the great lines of nutes. The people that work there are also knowledgable. Just remember to talk about veggies and fruit though because talking about meds is not welcome because of the current laws.
