Ok my mom have PM. I spray with baking soda and cleand the room.
I flush them everyday for a week and spray with the soda once a week.
Will the cuttings i take have PM?
How can i avoid my cuttings getting it?

if the conditions were right in your room then pm couldn't grow in the first place. the pm on your mom aint the problem. most likely its your high humidity.

tough one. the clones will more than likely have it. some plants are more prone to this than others.

you can control the powdery mildew easily during vegetative growth. i use water & nonfat milk (1 part milk to 9 parts water) sprayed under & top of leaves in the morning. i reapply just prior to flowering just in case.

powdery mildew seems to pop up sometimes right after fertilizing.

Yea im thinking about getting some green cure and spraying the mothers. I heard its like herpes tho. The gift that keeps on giving haha. Ive heard of the milk thing...
I think bakingsoda works better.
The cuttings are going outside so i dont think it will get to bad. IF i give the clones a good grow space.. i wonder if they wont get it.

Sorry bro ....nothing so far kills PM permanently...there is no cure.... only treatments...Freakin herpes for weed

PM is systemic..its inside your plant...if you take cuttings from an infected plant its passed on to the cuts

PM spread to all my strains... even strains I thought were resistant to the PM..Bubba White widow Northern lights

I've had PM for a few years.....try everything new on the market to control or kill it when I hear about it

Organically.....the best thing I have come across is Greencure....10-12 day intervals or spot spray as need daily

Chemically...the best thing is Eagle 20 EW...systemic 30 day residual

Thanks California for the killer clones with PM

Reguardless of what you do....it will always come back...Unless you strip clean your GR and start from seed fresh or a clean clone

PM is some sneaky tricky shit. However PM is not always related to grow environments. Like someone else said above some strains are more prone to it while others are completely immune. I have one flower room and always have more than 1 strain going at a time. On my last flower cycle I had 3 strains going and only 1 strain got the PM. I had cloned the hell out of that plant before it went to flower, it started getting pm during veg. All the clones from her were affected, had to really stay on top of it. Only that 1 strain ever got it. I finally dug a hole outside and put her in the ground about a month ago, gave up on her and now the beast is flowering. The sun took care of the pm.

PM can be found even in rooms with appropriate humidity levels. It usually is very hard to get rid of in your room once it's there. I will say one thing that has worked for me in the past was spraying them with an organic pest / mold control spray. You could also use a mold only spray. Basically anything with SULPHUR in the ingredients SHOULD work. Now I am not saying it will work for everyone in every room growing every strain, but for 7-8 bucks a bottle it completely fixed my PM issue.

so how bad would it get in 7 weeks into flowering from clone. no veg time
I took them out and spray the walls with bleach. I sprayed them with bakingsoda. The whitewidows are most resist than the Purple kush
Im gonna get green cure.
I guess if they are outdoors its a seldom problem.
But will they die if they have PM or can they rough it out.
how much will it affect them?

The strain I had the pm problem with never got treated with anything and the pm began during veg time. Since the pm started out on the large and small fans I just kept it away from the buds by lots of picking. Without any treatment picking is the only other option to keep it out of the buds. 7 weeks is a long time to go without either picking or treating, it will set into the buds in that amount of time. If though you had the option between powdery mildew (starts on fans) and bud rot (mold starts in the buds) PM is way easier to deal with than bud rot. Picking is sort of an ocd behavior and treating with a spray saves time.

What if they were brought into a stable enviorment??

Good. The plant that I had pm with got cloned to shit. I gave cuttings away and I kept some. The ones a gave to the neighbor did not bring to pm with it. He never had an issue with pm which if it was systemic his would have it too.

I have never tryed it in flower, so I cant tell ya. as long as you have adiquate air movement to dry the buds off, after you wash it off then it should be ok. It also depends how far from the finish you are, if ya only a few weeks off id just chop as early as ya can

Yo almost in week three. Should i spray now?
I have done the baking soda before.
Its just these clones i cut off a mildew mother. I had a white mom and she didnt get the mildew. It seems purple kush is supectible to the PM
Im going to look up Sulpher pots and how to use them. Ill send the link for furture referance.
That shit usually comes in the winter months. Colder temps= higher Relative humidity.
I live in canada so its cold alot of the year. I could run a dehum thats 1500watts. I would rather run more lights.
