Hello everyone, everyone is almost always too busy showing off their babies inside their growrooms but we all never get to appreciate the raw ingenuity of the growroom itself. so please, take a moment to post up shots of your growrooms and give us the skinny on them, .... light power, gadgets, hoods used, EVERYTHING that makes your growroom grow the sticky icky. I feel it would help out a lot of people who are up-and-coming in the game. pictures set a far better example besides just words. so please everyone, show us that damn growroom! :leaf:

growroom.jpg001.jpgok i know there are babies inside it but oh well, you all can see it is a simple setup.
3x3x7 with a 600 cool tubed hood ducted to a 440 cfm vortex inline fan. i got the fan hooked up to a fan speed controller to be able to dial in my temps inside the room. I only have one side ducted which takes out the hot air and when the door is closed to the room it acts like na vacuum, bringin in a constant new supply of air. painted all of the room flat white. using "pro-grip" hangers because i despise yo'yos. the pro grips are really nice. the cool tube hood is also really nice in directing light where you want it and also when it is hooked up to the inline fan it makes me be able to get about 6-9 inches away from the plant tops. it stay mighty cool. the temps inside the grow room stay at 78degrees. and thats about it.

I have a 400w digital switchable air cooled hood by a 190cfm fan with filter. Pulling air through the hood in a 3x3x6.5' tent, temps stay 70-75F, RH45%.

T8's for side lighting, and auto watering pots. Chain hangers for the light because of the weight and also able to keep 8-9" away.:blsmoke:

The girls definitely seem to be liking the extra spectrum of light. They've almost doubled in mass since I've added them!:weed:

Runnin 3600W in my bloom, 600 bein MH, and I have three four foot eight bar T5 flourescent fixtures as well as two 125W CFLs. I do not have any CO2 supply, though i wish i did. My veg area is also only temporary, but still, getting out of control with not much room as is.

I've got a 400 watt lamp with a 530 CFM inline fan pulling air through a 6" cool tube venting into the attic. Two 60 CFM blowers venting into the attic that are mainly used to vent air through the room during night cycles. They run for 15 Minutes every hour. I Have a raised floor which I call an air floor, it's raised above my passive air intakes. Also I got a 20 inch box fan sitting in box frame blowing air up through the canopy. This helps to move air more efficiently. My temps are mostly in the mid to high 70's and I'm currently growing NL5.

Here's mine - Flower chamber with dual 150w hps in DIY air cooled hoods, plus cfl and UV-B for spectrum variety. Clone and Veg chambers are fitted with cfls. I keep 6 plants in the flower chamber, each currently 10 day apart on a perpetual harvest cycle. For odor control, I've got a tiny ozone generator, and the whole system vents the exhaust down the sewer / vent stack of my house.
Full details can be found on my signature line.

Heres my first growroom.

I have a 4x4 tent with a 600w on a blockbuster 6". I keep the vent hole thats opposite of my exhaust open for a passive intake. For exhaust I got a 6" vortex for the hood only and another 4" vortex sucking air from inside the tent and blowing towards my 600w ballast to keep it cool. for ventilation i have 2 small fans and a tall oscillating fan. and a 400cfm phresh filter for the smell when I start flowering.

For my first grow Im growing 1 space queen, 2 blue dream, 2 purple og kush, and 1 blackberry. I've been vegging them for 4 weeks now and are all lst'd

Ill start by saying the room is 7x8 ft with a wall as you will see right in the middle of the 8 ft wall.
First ill show the door,2010-11-29_21-38-16_558.jpg has a deadbolt so not just anyone can wonder in there during a crazy house party or something. no no one has yet asked why this room is locked yet, but im ready to answer that im storing my roommates shit while hes in Iraq. NOTE: i put a rubber door sweeper on the bottom to block all light and stop air from getting in/out. mostly in since room is a vacuum.
Door open showing wall built to make the 2 differant rooms.2010-11-29_21-39-03_202.jpgNOTE: the weed porn i have hanging as insperation to the girls. some guys play music for there girls but i like it when they are forced to look at porn.

second is venting. the source of the vacuum is a fantech fan.2010-11-11_22-44-59_490.jpg 485 cmf, sucking threw a pro50 carbon filter 2010-11-29_21-44-14_271.jpg(works so well ill never try a differant brand) that is packed into my filter/conderser (hot side of the ac) cab i built. 2010-11-29_21-40-34_965.jpgThis cab gets its air from the a hole in the wall (in picture that has filter, hole on left side) that pulls air from a hole in the top of a closet2010-11-29_21-44-32_697.jpg in the workout room next door. sucks only fresh and hot ac air and pushes it threw the hoods and out under my deck out side (smells like a dryer running kinda. this means grow room is slight negative pressure (about 1/4" of water) and rdy for CO2 case the room is sealed from rest of house.

Next well look at the plumbing. this little addition made watering so much easier.I just taped into the houses cold water line off my water heater and ran some 1/2" copper2010-11-11_22-44-51_305.jpg into the room with a spicket.2010-11-29_21-39-16_992.jpg in this pic you can also see my temp/humi meter. inside is veg room outside is flower since i dont care what the house is at. i could use a hose on the spicket i guess but then i wouldnt know how much water iwas giving the ladies. NOTE: the water is in the veg room so i can use it when ever without fear of messing up the dark period.

And finally, just some random pics of other stuff i have done.
This in the door between veg and flower rooms. i used one huge piano hinge to attach it to the frame. did 2 things here. 1) makes door seal light proof and 2) made door stupid stroung, i can hang off this thing and it doesnt make a sound. Youll notice the copper pipe in it... thats my "lock" to keep it shut, basicly like a bolt to keep everything closed againt the fans sucking. 2010-11-29_21-39-35_444.jpg
Here is the outlet i wired in from the main box in the garage. the lights have there own circuit now and the whole room can be shut down from garage with a easy flick of a breaker. NOTE: the expanding foam to keep the air (and smell) were i want it.2010-11-29_22-05-50_87.jpg
Last but not least is the easy ballest shelf i built. it is in the flower room cause this is the AC controlled room so i figure put the heat sources were the heat can be battled the easiest. NOTE: my fancy laping of the boards. idk why i did it like that just think it is cooler then butting the boards2010-11-29_21-45-20_33.jpg
Yeah log post but i figured it may inspire someone to do something usefull in there rooms. Tell me what you think and if you want ill answer any questions or add pics to better clear up any fuzzy things.
