Lmao. She does look like a monster! Yeah i thought it looked kinda cool when I was coming back and I could just see the silhouette of a big green bush with skinny arms. Lol. Yeah she stretched on my ass and my rookie ass didn't know what to do till she was touching the light. Lol she had four colas develop after I topped her and now they are bent and twisted and tied all over creating that big ol bush. Lol. Hey she's gonna produce some nice nuggz after all that. I started the co2 on day one of flower. I recently read that you should wait till 2 weeks into flower to avoid major stretching. It seems that's what happened to my Blue Mystic or I have a sativa type pheno. The strain reports I have read say they grow short. She's well over 5 feet tall! Hmm anyone know of any truth to waiting to introduce co2 until after the stretch?

Just wondering if anyone would share their harvesting and trimming tips. Myself I have to harvests and have trimmed both by hand over a glass table thinking I'd collect those trich's. Didn't really get too much that I thought was worth trying to scrape. But recently I seen this:http://www.hydrohippy.com/Trim-Stations.html

Anyone use this or something similar? It's $150.00. Well I did some google searching and found a screen printing supply place locally that sells the same size micron (230) that that trim station has for a lot cheaper. You can get a wood framed or aluminum framed screen for about $35. Anyone use something like this to trim over and collect the trich's? They have all sizes of micron screens. That trim station has a stainless steel 230 micron screen. Will a non stainless steel 230 micron screen work as well. Why not? Any thoughts and ideas tips or tricks on this and harvesting are greatly appreciated! Thanks and Happy Growing!

hey doomster, wish i could be of help with the harvest and trimming tips but i dont have much expereince.
I just know how to dry and cure at this point. Wait for the branch to snap! then its dry. Curing.. let air in and check for dampness.. if you find your buds are damp again then let the jars breath and continue to do so until your sure they are completely dry. I had a jar of SLH go moldy on me once.. so i learnd my lesson there. But you probebly already knew that.
That is a really cool trimming screen box that you were kind enough to link us to. Thank you for that. I do think its overpriced though. Your ideas of creating your own seem very doable.
I look forward to seeing your new inventions at work. Both this screen and the home made Vaporizor. lol.. time to go to Home Depot! take care. Amber

Hey chronic not trying to knock the light becuz u have had great results but 1200 bones and it can only handle 2 plants??or have u had more than that....Becuz im gonna get ride of my cool tube i think for the summer and go with led but 12bones on 1 light for 2 plants cant do that..can it handle 6 cuz thats how many i neeed to do at once let me know boss..And if u wanna send me pics of ur last grow that would be cool 2 boss..thanks..

What up D Haze? No knocks taken here bro! I'm completely satisfied with the Supernova LED! As for only handling two plants. Well two is all I have in the cab at the moment. Actually my cabinet is not that big. I have it built to fit inside a closet. The dimensions are 60"Hx39"Wx24"D. Right now that Blue Mystic is pushing the limits of the space inside. My first grow I had 3 Auto flowers in there. Second grow I had 5 autos in there and here we are on the third grow with two regular strains in there. I think the light specs say it's good for a 5X5 growing area. Probably best at 3X3 or 4x4. In about a year or so I'll be out of the cabinet into a grow space/cave. I plan to grow six at a time then. As for the $1200 price tag. Well it has paid for itself as far as I'm concerned. I had to make some sacrifices here and there. I sold a double bass Tama drumset to help get my whole project going. Didn't use household loot made sacrifices on medicine and shit and put the loot together. I wanted a stand alone LED LIGHT. A light that would work from seed to flower w/o any added cfl's or anything else. I seen that HigH TimeS included the Supernova in their annual STASH awards as best new LED technology. Claimed it was good for all stages of growth. So I bought that bad boy! It's as advertised as far as I'm concerned. Now I'm sure there are lights out there better and cheaper now! I bought this last July and I've seen some decent lights come out since then. Just have to do a lil research and not buy any cheap shit. I believe ya get what ya pay for! And I did when it came to this LED. I'm nor afraid to pay for quality. Main thing is do your research!!!! Here are the specs the manufacturer emailed me on the Supernova:

think 3 things you need to consider are...

1. lifespan
it has running life of something like 50 000 hours...
running 12/12 that's about 11 years worth of usage if i'm not mistaken..
also like it says above individual bulbs can be replaced too

2. running cost
savings on electricity over extended periods of time of HID equivalents

3. heat
less heat means less money spent on cooling.
also less chance of getting nicked...

now if i could just find a reliable decent uk supplier

i'm trying to figure out what it is exactly that differentiates good led's from shit led's so far it seems to be..

a. diodes and chips used
b. specific spectrums
c. reflector angles on globes

i been looking at this guys site

hey chronic how much did u get off those autos?Ya im totally with u on u get what u pay for ive always believed that..My space is 4.5ftx4.5ftx2.5ft so im thinking i might need 2 of those or some kind of additional lighting i have a quatum that is dimmeable so i could put it on 300w which puts out only 6-8 degrees of heat difference so with the nova it might not get to hot right...What kind of heat does it put out??

Remember, the rating is for max output. Most led lights do not operate at max capacity, therefore longevity is increased considerably. Heat is not your friend with LEDs.

Penetration is vital, and Kessil tech (developed with NASA) is the only LED that can even come close to producing buds with 30w of light. I've managed some small but dank from one light, 2 lights would rock a small grow.

Their technological platform is far superior and is easily researched.

What up people? Ive been mia for a bit. Busy working and other things. Let's see I think we are on day 64 of flower for both. The plan is to harvest next Saturday. But I will probably harvest the LSD on Tuesday. I actually had to cut one of the tops off from the blue mystic last night. She's been tied over and twisted in all positions and finally had enough on that top. Still have three more on her with lots of lollipop type buds also. So I got probably at least a qrtr prob more that I harvested from her so far. I did cut a little branch from each plant about 4 days ago. Still waiting on those little nuggs to dry before smoking them. Although a couple days before taking those branches I took a little budd off of the blue mystic. After it shriveled and dried I had a little taste. I was very pleased with the taste and the high from that little nugg. Hopefully it's a good indicator of things to come! Maybe those two branches will be dry by the time I get home from work. The other that I harvested will be a lil while. I'll definitely put it into jars when the time is right! So this morning I woke up at 9am UK time to place my order with the attitude for some more "souvenirs". Today is the start of their June promo. They are giving away 10 seeds with an order over $40. Hells yeah I took advantage of that offer. Plus I got other nice freebies on top of those ten for ordering some single seeds. I got about 26 seeds coming that are pretty kill strains! I did order a five pack of fem seeds called The Ultimate from Dutch Passsion seed co. That's gonna be my next grow I think, 2 ultimate plants In airpots using Las Fingerez mini movable scrog technique. Can't wait to get em started.
