Its never too late for stakes, I use them routinely since I like a nice open and wide canopy much like yourself. You can find dowel rods or bamboo stakes at any grow store, garden center or home depot.
i was on my way out the door to get some bamboo stakes but it started pouring. guess i'll have to wait till monday. lol. thanks for the input bud.

Wow, they look great! You do good work:)
I got a local hydro store to match pricing so the project, as far as buying materials, started today with 2 Hortilux 600w HPS at $95.81 each including tax. It looks like I'll probably go with GrowLabs 145 for veg and GrowLabs 145L for flower unless the 240 or 290 make more sense. I may not get the Quantum 12...may use an 8 and 4 from someone else...a compromise for leaving him bloody on the floor after matching prices LOL.
Later Nugs.
hey numsi, thanks for stopping by bud. i'll see you over in the other thread.

hey shwag, i wanted to ask you cause i saw in another thread that you ran pure power plant too. how does the color on mine look? i know it's hard to tell but it seems like it runs a little yellower then other strains. even from he beginning. i though it might be a pH problem but after seeing your pics i think it just might be the strain. any thoughts?

Y'know, I can't recall exactly. But I was looking at some of them in my older threads and they def were more of a yellowish tint as opposed to a deep green. I didn't exactly have my feedings tailored well back then either though so I can't say for sure. I know that I had some that were a bit yellow that ended up producing quite well though. Have you tried easing off the flowering ratio and kicking her some more N ?

Also, depending what pics you looked at I very well could have been working through some issues, I was still learning back when I ran the PPP.

that's a good idea about getting a little more N in them. i've gotta see how they look tonight when the lights come on. pushed some pH 5.9 water into them yesterday. wanna see what that does. if they look better then i'll know that's the problem. if not i may go back to 6.3 pH and play around with 10-15% veg nutes in the mix next feeding.

well, just ran into the room. plants aren't looking any better. if anything one of them is getting a slight bit yellower. noticed some small burnt tips and maybe 2-3 rust spots on leaves. thinking it may be the pH change. gonna ride it out the next days and see how it goes. then on the next watering i'm gonna step up the nitrogen by adding some veg nutes to the mix.

one good thing though. they have just begun to start their fattening up. i can see changes overnight in mass and the crystals on the lleaves have doubled. i love this shit!!

hey nuglets what nutes are you useing? and are you useing a CAL/MAG?
hey meangreen. running connoisseur and a few an additives plus botanicare cal/mag. usually putting around 150ppm of cal/mag in every feeding. schedule is feed, water, feed, water. don't think it's the calcium or magnesium though. apart from the cal/mag, connoisseur and the additives i use have a nice amount of cal/mag.

i'm gonna give it 2-3 more days till next feeding but i'm pretty sure it's a combo of the strain just being a light color and probably low on nitrogen. i feed her bloom nutes from the beginning of flower. thinking i'm light on the N. gonna add some veg nutes to the next feeding and keep the pH at 5.9 to see if that changes it. i may push it back to 6.3 depending on how things play out.

i'm in sunshine #4. soiless. been running at 6.3 pretty much the whole time. just dropped it down to 5.9 based on a few conversations i had regarding the light color on the PPP. thinking that may have been a mistake after reading up on a few threads and talking to you. think the color may be N deficiency. gonna stick with the 5.9 for the next feeding which will be in 2-3 days. also gonna bump the N up in the next feeding by adding 30% veg nutes. depending on how that goes i may push her back up to 6.3 the watering after that.

I remember putting way too much thought into it like that lol. God how I love my super soil.

I'm not going to give any advice here, I use soiless mixes but I've never used a peat/coir mixture. My Pro Mix BX likes my ph between 6.3-6.6, just like soil.

yeah i was thinking CALMAG but it may be the lack of N. why did you end up giveing her bloom from the beginning? i use to do that, but giveing them veg nutes for the 1st week or two works well IMO..plants ae looking good by the way great job man.

Yea. I think it's the nitrogen. Ran the sunshine at 6.3 without any issues before this. Gonna switch back to that and up the N on the next feeding. Thanks bud.

lookin great bro! i skipped a few pages but i spent a couple hours reading through! im using connoisseur as well, i not pushing past 1150 ppms cause im getting burn. i would try to keep your ppms steady at 1100 and see how that works.. maybe that way you wont have to straight water every third watering. are you using all RO water? reason i was asking is cause you said that you are using cal\mag every other water? i dont even really need to use cal\mag with the conni but im only using half RO .

tie those bitches out, its never to late to stake the shit out of everything. i read something about three 1k watters. how much light do you got under those girls right now?

if that PPP is anything like the PPP i grew a few months back, dont let that strain go. some of the most distinct tasting bud ive ever had. i wish i could get my hands on it again.

hey man, thanks for stopping by.

i'm using botanicare cal/mag plus. 100% r/o water. was using about 150ppm with every feeding. gonna back it off a little though. drop it down to 75-100ppm. i'm noticing that connoisseur and the supplements i use are pretty stacked with cal/mag. been on a feed, water, feed, water schedule for a while now. pushed the nutes to 1475ppm last time with no burn really. i like pushing the nutes to find strain limits. that's how i found my beg limits with these strains using sensi 2 part. in soil too i like that schedule. helps with salts buildup and i think it also helps keep the soil fresher.

yea, i'm getting some bamboo stakes on monday. gonna just use them as supports for the heavy stems once the buds start beefing up. this time around i lst'd the shit out of those so i couldn't use my tomato cages. in the future though i will keep them a little smaller and less lst. the tomato cages work great.

i had 3k running before. 1 in my veg tent and 2 in flower. since i'm just finishing these 4 plants before i swap out tents i'm just running 600w in flower with some uvb lights and the 1k is still going in veg. got 18 plants under the 1k in 2 gallon pots and 12 under a t5 in 1 gallon pots. as soon as i harvest these and make the switch i'll pull out 4-6 moms from the 3 strains i have and then flower 18 of them immediately. keep another 6 that i'll lst a bunch again and get them ready for the following harvest.

well theyre lookin great!

question. you said your in soil.. but i read above that your in mix4? without anything in it mix4 is soilless so that counts as "hydro" technically no? are you adding anything in it? cause 1400ppms in straight mix4 is high.. but not insane.. but 1400 in soil is too much IMO
