When I was young I used to emulate heroes like Batman & Superman. These days, when I play dress up, my super cape has FDD written across it.

Whenever I'm reading a thread, and want to get to the good stuff, I just start scanning for his avatar, always knowing something good will be nearby.
Seriously, FDD, that one week you changed your avatar, I was lost....

FDD rocks! He helped me in many ways directly and indirectly. His posts are humorous and very knowledgable. I get his sarcasm and like it even, lol. Rollitup would not be the same without him for sure. :mrgreen::peace:

first thanks for being the busiest mod. without mods - the site would fall apart quickly and you are one of the remaining few and busiest by far.

also - if it weren't for you i would still be guessing as to when to harvest and how to easily dry and cure my bud.

and your hash making thread inspired me to get a set of bubble bags and try it myself - with pretty good success!

but i don't want to take up too much space.


so fellow RIU'ers! here is your chance to tell FDD how he has helped you and how he may have influenced you in your quest to grow bigger and better bud!!!!

I don't want to go on too much, as I have already said alot about FDD recently but I will say that he has answered a ton of My PMs regarding things ranging from grow issues to forum problems and he has always taken the time to help. And he helps a ton of people.

His style of posts, with all the great pictures is what inspired me to take tons of pictures...of pot, or plants, of all kinds of things...even dead possums. I try to get as much detail in my posts with pics now, they speak a thousand words. Look at my journal to see what I mean.

When i 1st came to this site as a lurker i was prepared to spend mega bucks to start growing again after taking a 20 plus year break,i was also clinging to many stupid wive's tales i had been taught about growing,watching FDD do so much with his grows with so very little fancy stuff set me back & made me realize that i needed to learn much more before i germed a single seed,so i kept reading & watching,not only FDD's grow's but others as well.

Most of the things i learn from FDD are little things that are simplistic in their nature,no real big eye openers but like little added boosts in horsepower,they slowly add up,i give direct credit to him for the inspiration to experiment, which in turn helped me grow a monster plant with the biggest cola ive ever laid eye's on,ive trippled my floor space without adding a single light reading his threads & im now learning about revegging & going through my 1st reveg following his example thread.

Fdd's grow tip's added significantly to the overall yeild of my last harvest & with the added floor space ive gained from watching & reading his threads the yeild on my next grow will surely increase again.

I have a question, and it has more to do with me learning all the features of this site, its interface (or is that interfaeces? :lol: sorry, that was my Roseanne Roseanna Danna moment for ya :oops: ) than anything else, but, here goes..
How come when I click on your gallery link I get the one picture that you've put up (and that I can't seem to figure out how to make for myself, yet another problem), but when I click on fdd's gallery link I get taken to HELLA pictures from other people's grows and "galleries"? :?

I still try to learn.
