are u planing on establishing some mothers, or run from seed every grow, or pheno hunting?
I lost my cuts due to a security issue. Had to toss everything. But luckily I handed a couple friends some of them before stuff got bad. I will attempt to get my genes back soon but in the meanwhile I am pheno hunting for sure.

Working with TGA/Bodhi genes I historically have very good lucky finding new keepers, even working with smaller numbers. Out of this run there is bound to be a few special ladies that really shine. Goal is to take cuts of most if not all of the ladies here when they get established in larger pots and run my new 8-bulb t5 to keep available mothers going all the time. I'm not looking for a keeper from any specific strain. Just looking to see out of all the seed plants which ones meet my criteria for becoming a mom.

In order for me to keep a plant it has to yield well, and have great bag appeal (smell/taste), I prefer short to medium plants that stretch 2x or less. The quality of the smoke is going to be important too but that is more going to be judged by my friends and not me so much. I smoke/consume very little. They are the ones that get the goods. I just grow the shit. Mainly as a hobby.

Ideally I would prefer a Timewreck, Qush, Cinderella and or Apollo and some kind of Lemon keeper.. but I am open to whatever floats my boat.

I may keep a male or two if I find the right one. My last attempt to impregnate Space Princess with some Chernobyl pollen did not work out so well. I will give it a go again possibly.

that sucks u lost what u were working with b4 the shit or whatever went down, but its fun cracking seeds. i only have one mother right now, the one im bending in the dwc bucket. i dont relly care all that much about keeping "grapegodess"cut, but the bucket in not going 2 fit in my grow this round, cuz im going 2 use 2galgrow bags. i have an real nice lemon skunk 7 weeks in flowering, and dam i love the lemon smell. blue widow on the other hand ,no smell really and no suger. hey what better 2 400hps, or 1 1000watter? i want 2 upgrade so i can do more.

Never buy a 400watter again, they're not worth it IMO. Go either with multiple 600 watt ballasts or 1000 watt ballasts. Depending on what your room can handle. I prefer multiple 600 watt electronic digital ballasts running through a master lighting controller at 240v. It's efficient and when you hear that "click." There's nothing like it. It's just like "click!" LET THERE BE LIGHT!!!

Thankfully just cause you lost something doesn't mean it's gone. It's a shame you don't have 707 and blue dream in your life.

subbed up for pics of the tga cherry strains
I'm excited about those too. I ran a couple once, but didn't allow them enough Veg time to show me the real potential. These beans are very special to me. It's not every day you get hookup up by "TheNewGuy." He's a great dude who remains somewhat elusive. Spends his time breeding for himself and his friends. The genes he's held onto and the crosses he's made are very impressive in his threads on the different boards. Link

I know. Even if I had acquired those back then, I probably would still be in the same boat tho. When I had to toss everything, it meant everything. Fortunately for me I have a ton of seeds and alot of time.
I also realize I have plenty of friends that always have my back. This I am thankful for.

i saw a monster enrgey drink fridge at the qik-e-mart today, and almost took a pic for u lol. ok i was on amozon last night looking at a 600watt digital cool tub with xl hood
this is a link http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006DS3BA4/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&smid=AXC6VLRHTOFD2 let me know what u think.
There are alot of those bargain combos on amazon, and ebay, a company called High Tech Garden Supply (HTG) is known to make cheap combos easy to purchase. Buyer beware tho. I initially bought a combo just like that. Ballast was made by a company called "Digital Greenhouse" my buddy and father all got one too. After the one year warranty expired the ballasts would fail, one by one. A bargain is only so good as the build quality and reliability of the product, I will only purchase name brand when it comes to ballasts. Phantom by Hydrofarm is my favorite. I also own Lumatek. All have been very reliable. I scored a Lumatek 600w used on Ebay for $90 last year.. the bargains are out there. As far as the hood goes, you can buy a nice one by like the "Yield Master II" for less than $100. I myself am not a fan of the cooltube, but only because it doesn't meet my growing style. The Yieldmaster like most air cooled reflectors put out a better square lighting footprint. Also the light in a single aircooled reflector reflects back and passes through the glass once giving your plants more light, unlike with the cooltube, some light bouncing off the reflector goes back through the glass again, you lose lumens.

The main benefit of having a tent, is tents keep most of the light in. If you aircool your hoods and can keep the temps down, go tent. I used to keep a tent without aircooling, had to keep it open all the time when the lights were on, it was a huge pain in the ass. I had a big air conditioner running in the room at all times. I do not use a tent now tho. I prefer having a large space. My huge 12x10 tent is all boxed up, probably never to be used again.

Hey MD i was wondering WTF this floater talk was all about in that other thread. I honesty thought you guys were refereeing to a cut that "floats" around in your circle of friends. Lol

Sounds much more interesting now that I know what you were talking about.

Idk if I would be brave enough to run the black dahlia's... the test threads noted nanners like crazy on most of the plants from some very experienced growers. black cherry soda x querkle sounded like a dream too, so it's too bad. Personally I never got hyped up on the black cherry soda crosses, I still have a pack of Plushberry unopened. The Latte Stone I'm running has some Black Cherry Soda in the genetics. Blackberry Widow x Chemsoda (BCSx Chem D bx3). I find it ironic that a real Latte Stone is the name for a Pillar used as building supports by the Malayo-Polynesian people (known as Chamorro people, or Chamoru people, the indigenous peoples of the Mariana Islands). Perhaps naming this cross Latte Stone, OMMPkid (Chamorros Genetics) was thinking that this cross was to be the building block of his seed company. The test threads that he started last updated 6/12/12 appear to be abandoned. He also hasn't signed on Breedbay since that time. The angry backlash he received from several members of the community in response to his Black Cherry Soda S1s creating male preflowers could be the reason for his absence.

Got my smart pots today as well as a 50 pack of some Jiffys. Thank God for Jiffys. I love those little peat pucks.

Hey monster I use those Jiffys too but sometimes I think they give me gnats. Have you ever had this problem? Not always but seems every couple of batches I get a gnat invasion.
