imho hydro sucks

Hell I even tried the Organic nutes and still was dissapointed to hear the same thing from them.

Thing about patient/caregiver relationship is if they can get medicine they like from another caregiver>then they switch caregivers

I'd rather keep all my patients even if I have to deal with smaller weight
I guess I could do some outdoors next year to produce some organic plants with extra weight since I'm not in the cities.
I just love the pound plants you get with hydro whereas organic plant your lucky to yield 5+ zones

your patients sound like little bitches complaining that cough syrup doesnt taste good. tell them to shut the fuck up and smoke their meds before you get out the belt.

Pound plants huh? How long it take to get pounders and can you have more than one plant per thousand watt light
or I shall ask how many pound plants fit under three one thousand watt digital ballast using magnum xxxl hoods and what system and how long start to finish? I'll do any system that pulls pounders dried and cured.

I wouldn't suggest it for amatuers with a few plant in a closet or a tent but if your growing for profit Hydro is the way to go.

600w for the 17-18 oz plants 1000w would produce more possibly a bit over kilo
One plant 2.5-3 month veg waterfarm 3x4 room SCROG
Need that much room for each plant because it always uses entire space
My soil grows are in a 4x8 and they get a different type of scrog where the plants are movable
Using a Cut down tomato cage they veg 2-2.5 months. Usually about 6-8 plants depending on size.

Sorry but when people have serious life threatening diseases I wouldn't argue or call names to people with cancer.
I do it for them anyway!
Only the few with cancer are the ones complaining; so I decided to continue both methods until I figure out the right combo of nutes(and save my organic just for the cancer patients taking chemo)

I thought some1 might have an idea of a sweetner/supplement that produces all the flavor of organics.

I think that hydrosoil is the best by far. You have all of the advantages of both and the freedom to expand in three directions.

I wish that Sarah Palin was my grow assistant, I would bang her in the grow rooms and the additional co2 from our rapid and prolonged increase on respiration would be of tremendous benefit to the plants.

Definately will try the Karma since I don't have a bottle of it yet; Making a trip to the shop 2morrow anyways
That's actually one of the few nutes. I haven't tried

Hydro is for the person with plenty of money to spend.
Like I said its not the dirt/hydro system>its the plants.
You can grow tomatoes and anything else in hydro just like dirt
when they find anything else then the hydro system becomes evidence
Think they gonna bring a bunch of dirt/plastic pots to the station?
I build my DWC units. $30 total for a 5-gallon and it's plug-and-play. It doesn't take a lot of money for hydro. If you really know about growing pot.

I've always believed this too, from hear-say on terpene values. I heard that terpenes couldn't be acquired from a hydro medium. In recent months I've read that the medium is not the culprit blah blah blah. After that I can't say there is a damn thing wrong with hydro besides that crackling when you spark it up. Maybe that's not hydro-specefic. Is it? In the future I'll do some research on hydro and see if that's the direction I'll go in. But, I started my grow 2 weeks ago and plan to use soil for a while because that's how I learned.

Been growing for over 10 years about 2.5 years in Hydro(my plants never have deficiency's even in hydro).
I can build DWC tubs too but they aren't as good as Modified waterfarms; I don't care what you say.
You won't make me mad Mr. Badass Wiseman

I make mine in 15 gal tubs with ONE plant and still wont out produce my Mod. waterfarm

That 15 gal tub had a solid mass of roots too.
The waterfarm with added aeration and extra holes in top bucket still beat the homemade.
My homemade tub isn't ghetto-made like some I've seen.(quality materials in mine)
It's not the setup that costs > it's the nutrients/supplements/sweetners you have to buy if you want quality
A waterfarm costs what $50? and its not homemade
If you knew about growing pot you would know its the Nutes that cost you.

The nutrients are what cost you. I like that last part- No I know nothing of growing pot after 10 years and never a failed grow even the first. You started bashing me like you know me or something.

Where's the sniveling? I'm just giving past experiences.

Things can go wrong much faster in Hydro;

I disagree. I've done both for many years also, and i believe that the plants respond to overwatering and nute deff. in the same "period" of time. Maybe not true with aero or dwc but in hydro.. pebbles or rockwool etc... even in hydroton with a well established plant, if a dripper clogs i still have 2 days to get it dripping again before i see a droop..

hydro is very forgiving if you know what to look for. i think soil problems like root aphids or mold and mildews in the soil from overwatering are harder to detect and take more inspection personally?.. with a good hydro system with proper flood times etc it takes me no time to spot an issue. its easier to control root zone pest and its easier to correct nutrient issues.. jmo

nutrients can be freeish? IF your in soil save your nanner peels.. synthetic nutes are cheap as hell too as long as you know what to buy. check the dyna gro line and gh lucas or an monkey juice also with lucas.. powderkcool bloom is cheap and last a long time, and does me good as a stand alone bloom booster? ..

silicon is cheap and also a great nute. also needed for soil

peroxide in a hydro recirc system will make the nutes last up to a month and keep the water fresh and free of bacteria. Its 20 bucks a gallon much cheaper than mixing fresh batches at every watering . them tea supp's can add up and great white is spendy.

also no need to set your water out for a full day or buy a RO system. with hydro its good out of the tap.. (as long as you dont have shitty/hard water) mines 50ppm out the tap. i love where i live...

i can literally grow 4 pounds with 60 bucks in nutes in hydro.. my soil medium perilite trich/myko's and amendments in soil were triple that before i even got soil nutes.. and i even sprung for 5 gallon smartties. they werent cheap. but i may fill them with hydroton someday??

Nutes for hydro are not cheap if you want the whole lineup and in my soil I don't use nutrients because its organic and has everything already. I use both at the same time in different rooms > so I really don't care if one is better than another.

Do we have manners anymore since the invention of the internet? Slowly fading into existence
