Here is the real issue here not their pricemor shifty meds.

Just because in and out is open 1 mile down the street from me does that mean that I cant cook my own hamburgers or even raise my own beef? That is the rest if your bulshit analogy.
But he didn't go there to learn how to grow his own did he? He went there to purchase meds. Shitty analogy.

If I was suffering, I'm sure in and out would give me a FREE burger. Regardless if I had half the money or no money at all, people still have compassion...EXCEPT, dispensaries like AZ organix...clearly the only thing they care about is money, not the well being of patients. Let's discuss this a year frm now and see where they are...when they fail, what will you say then lucius? Can't wait for your excuses then lol

I could care less if they fail. I assure you if they do fail, it won't be because of not selling grams.

Yeah when someone jumps the gun in this industry that is what you get... Places that care about being the "first" dispensary in AZ/publicity with no longterm plan and only able to sell grams/eighths. They are solely banking on the free advertising and waiting for the big producers to piggy back off of. Nothing wrong with free advertising but one would think that capitalizing on that type of situation with real chronic would have been more beneficial for business longevity purposes/ returning customers. Having a limited supply and controlling patients intake is only working while there is no competition. Might as well sell the lowest amount at the highest price while it lasts, not a bad idea from a profiteering point of view. Crazy to think these people applied to operate without consistent supply, does not sound very savvy considering that the certificate has the potential to go back into the lottery if things head south.

If the dispensary becomes nonoperational does its certificate/license go back into the lottery?
Is there some sort of grace period if this is the case?

Most likely it goes back into limbo for months on end. During this time you will have to go to another dispensary, which will be flooded by patients from the closed dispensary and run out of meds or ration you to an eight at a time. In some parts of the state this may require you drive up to 50 miles each way so you can get your allotted eight per day.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Taken from another post from hydrogreg. "My patient and I went to Organix, and they have the same strains available all over the valley. They are higher priced than what myself or most caregivers would ask for donation, but hey, good for them if they have customers willing to pay it. What I didn't notice at Organix is info about seed to sale. Where did the plants come from, what nutrients have they been fed, what chemicals, etc. The dept. of health regs say they must do this..."

Not sure if any of this has changed...
R9-17-317. Product Labeling and Analysis

A. A dispensary shall ensure that medical marijuana provided by the dispensary to a qualifying patient or a designated caregiver is labeled with:

1. The dispensary’s registry identification number;

2. The amount, strain, and batch number of medical marijuana;

3. The following statement: “ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES’ WARNING: Marijuana use can be addictive and can impair an individual’s ability to drive a motor vehicle or operate heavy machinery. Marijuana smoke contains carcinogens and can lead to an increased risk for cancer, tachycardia, hypertension, heart attack, and lung infection. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN”;

4. If not cultivated by the dispensary, whether the medical marijuana was obtained from a qualifying patient, a designated caregiver, or another dispensary;

5. The date of manufacture, harvest, or sale;

6. A list of all chemical additives, including nonorganic pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers, used in the cultivation and production of the medical marijuana; and

7. The registry identification number of the qualifying patient.

B. If a dispensary provides medical marijuana cultivated by the dispensary to another dispensary, the dispensary shall ensure that the medical marijuana is labeled with:

1. The dispensary’s registry identification number;

2. The amount, strain, and batch number of the medical marijuana;

3. The date of harvest or sale; and

4. A list of all chemical additives, including nonorganic pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers, used in the cultivation of the medical marijuana.

C. If medical marijuana is provided as part of an edible food product, a dispensary shall, in addition to the information in subsection (A), include on the label the total weight of the edible food product.

D. A dispensary shall provide to the Department upon request a sample of the dispensary’s medical marijuana inventory of sufficient quantity to enable the Department to conduct an analysis of the medical marijuana.

Seems dispensaries are obligated by the rules to inform patients what and how they are growing regardless of being grown in house or donated by a caregiver. Note Chemical additives, basically any synthetic nute line needs to be listed on the label.
