How many innocent lives are your guns worth?

I find it absolutely hillarious that the number of posts that stay on topic in this entire forum is roughly 2%.

For those that may have a difficult time with percentages, that means only 2 out of every 100 posts are actually about what the OP had intended.

This place is as fucked up as a football bat.....wait, and so am I :eyesmoke: Man, I sure do love the taste of some Train Wreck....whew.

Peace

we are the problem, we are the ones letting them take our rights away one at a time. they take 1/3 of your wages and line their pockets with it. so its like getting slapped in the face twice . we might not have a dictatorship yet, but we are not far from it

Again Waiting for a suggestion of "Reasonable Gun Control Measures"..... You know the ones that pro-gun people supposedly ignore? No of course you don't know those ones because there has never been a suggestion for "Reasonable Gun Control Measures" ever put forth!

The feinstein bill couldn't even muster up enough enthusiasm in the dem side to get 51 votes lol, much less bring it to a floor vote. Dumb bitch threw a hail mary on her deathbed and it was smacked away. The rednecks have spoken.

Has anyone broached the idea of an individual background check that would clear a person for gun purchases within a specific amount of time? Without recording any specific firearm information?
For example, I submit to a background check, when it clears, I have X amount of days to purchase all the guns I want, with no other record of the sale, other than a receipt. No serial numbers, all I need is that document that says I have cleared a background check.
This keeps the ex-felons and mentally unbalanced from obtaining weapons legally but does not create a record of what I have.

It's an easy funnel directly into the black market tho, that's the only issue I can think of with your idea.

So, it's hateful rednecks that prevent her? No way. See, too easy. You are falling for it. The Congress is scored individually by many groups. All the main issue orgs, including NRA, keep careful track.

The NRA score is very high on many Democrats, that aren't rednecks, unless that is the difintion. I thought gun owners were murderers. Which is it?? Murdering Rednecks?

They expect Eric Holder will be held in Contempt. As many as 30 Democrats will vote for it. This in not about the false divisions. Red Necks vs the Numb-Nuts. There are a few that on the Agenda. When it comes to the vote is all that matters.

No, that can't happen. It is subtle, but the way they do it now, is part of commerce, buy first, then wait. We don't want the bait and switch where everybody registers their intent, but no one is ever issued a gun. Interconnected, plumbing in the background, laws carefully crafted to spend $millions on a sign up campaign. But, down in the weeds, is this other set of laws that say you will never get approved. But, you never get rejected, either.... I'm thinking the Hurricane Sandy mess with the property tax, etc. Totally fucked up, is the way of govt. <shrug>

Voila, no gun sales. See what I mean? It doesn't matter to hide what you have. It's like in the Orange, when they turned in the guns to the Nazi, and just went on the slave labor list for their troubles. You registered too much.

No, the problem, is this generational eroding, not of personal liberty, that the red herring, it is planned erosion of self reliance. A self reliant mother would not have allowed her koo-koo access to guns and then drift way to let society deal with.

We are going soft in the head and it is being done on purpose, I think.

Tell me then ....

Should guns be OK for convicted murderers to own? How about rapists?

Where do YOU stand? Do YOU draw any lines here?

You should be able to tackle this one in a few sentences or less.......
While imprisoned, certainly not.

But our correctional system is based on the notion that once the sentence is over, the convict has paid.
Also, not all felons were violent criminals, and our legal system doesn't discriminate between a paroled rapist and a paroled drug manufacturer or embezzler.

I suggest that ex-cons should be granted citizens' rights, which includes gun rights.
I have no qualms with severe penalties for ex-cons caught doing something mean or dumb with a gun or any other weapon. cn
