World Of Hempy

My first hempy was under CFL and Moe asked me if I was watering everyday as it was drooping........so I backed off to every second day and it responded well.....but now I'm under HPS, I water the 2L bottles every 36 hours, and the bucket every 48 hours.

I have not been flushing with straight water....I'm not sure if I'm missing an important step or not.
ATM im feeding about every 56hrs, its not enough, I should be doing it at 48hrs.

re flushing - I don't either. .. I don't think my plant's are 'telling' me they need a break when in bloom. ... as for any 'build-up' of salts which some people say happens, it's not something Ive seen happen in a Hempy and I don't really give a high-strength solution in feed anyhow.

Personally, I think a flush in the last couple of feeds is OK for me.

I'll have some pics up this evening, my 5 gallon buckets will last 5 days before I water/feed, at most I add a 1/2 gallon to them and get very little runoff. My 3.5 gallon buckets will go 3 days between. I just transplanted 28 cuttings in 2L mixed to see how well they compare half in Cana Coco the other half in straight perlite.

Adding just a 1/2 gal to a 5 gal bucket and getting a little runoff seems odd to me, Especially if it has been 5 days between waterings. With my 3.5's (which are the same dia as 5gal) I'll add a full gal and get no runoff. With my normal waters I add 1 1/2gal and will get about a quart/liter of runoff and currently I have to water every 3 days.

@ Txchillies Whatever your watering amount and frequency is, it must be right because your plants look great.

Spot on, my vote is with the Lemonator too, I think it'll become my first ever full length cola, budsites from tip-to-toe . ... Although the Lemon Kush has a sweeter lemon smell and the buds have a harder, more round, similar to the GDP in shape.

It may not look it but ... The Lemon Kush is actually faster and is more blatantly Indica , already forming lots of calyxes I think it'll finish a week or 2 before Lemonator.

Moe both Lemons look better than any I have grown, so I can't judge, I say your this far finish and out the door.
They're not the ones Im throwing away.

Its the clones in my Aero that have already started budding before rooting. ... .. I have an example of what it looks like when a flowered clone is put in a Hempy @12/12 ... it's not pretty. will post a pic tomorrow of two of the weirdest Hempys in bloom I have ever seen.

All the feedback I have got though is that I should just focus on GDP. The people love it apparently. So after my current strains and for the next 6 months+ im going to do boring mono-crops.

edit:
Tonight Im gonna chop all my 'non GDP' moms to put in the cloner. It'll be interesting to see what a Pineapple skunk and Mazar kush looks like in bud too.

Thanks Moe, I'm not too worried as it's just for personal use....but now that I have the loop I have been looking at the buds a little better.

Cool. and any scrap (minus Large fan leaf and branches) can be put in the freezer to make hash at a later date.

Thanks Watt, I took a page out of this thread a few pages back when we got to discussing pH and TDS/EC's. I took a step back and thought about some things that I was doing and it has seemed to help. Of course I'm using the lucas formula to feed with, but what I have found is that by reducing the micro and bloom by a third to half with the added suppliments. I see more growth happening and over all health of the plants is better. By the way my 5 gallon buckets have a 5 inch res.

Make Hash? I don't know if I can do that yet, but I'll save the leaves, why can't they just go in jars too? I have a ton of canning jars, I love canning.
