My complete veg cycle for my 8-headed Cataract was 60 days. Vegged in a 1.67G container, flowered in a 4G, 58-60 day flower


Basic walk-through of veg for an 8-head (Kush being not single cola dominant). If you want to see a few my journal goes from Day one to now, about 14-16 days from harvest.

Space between 2 and 3, about 2-3.5 weeks and lots of missing growth between 4 and 5. Grow out, top low and remove branching. Then pinch and tie (4th shot) after 4-5 days of recovery from topping. Continue

I've been dissecting this thread big time! only on page 80 thru 2 days of reading tons of good things!! A special thanks to Nugs you've changed my grow greatly and many others aswell I've got about 20 seedlings getting ready for mainlining most/all of them. I second this man great post. I'm two days reading and up to page 72 lol.

Nugs awesome work brother, really outstanding! I've been using Uncle Bens topping for four colas this last almost two years. Some times I'd get four equal colas or three, but every plant every strain readily produced two symetrical colas. Only one strain, Orange bud rejected topping entirely .

I learnt if i topped above the second node and then used bondage (LST) & super cropping on the top two branches i could develop an even canopy to a point. At the end of the day there's a point when the domination has to stop and two colas generally get a couple of inches taller.

Im massively OCD and crave symmetry, and maybe a week ago a thought came into my head 'top as normal for two colas then top them for four, maybe I'll get perfect four colas every time'.

It's like what must be, a couple of days later I hear someone singing the praises of this new mainlining technique over on Sub's organics forum. I come and check it out and here's a dude with a shit ton of experience that has done it, documented it (with fucking awesome photos and instructions), and made so easy I got the scissors and string out and went into the veg tent to play

Can a canopy square be used instead of a ring? Everyone knows circles are terrible for space conservation and use. How would a square or rectangle work instead of a circle for those of us with 4x4 tents and such? How effective is this for scrogging, I don't feel like reading 100+ pages to find an answer if it's been answered.

Yes, a square will work fine. I have used cane cut and tied to make a square slightly larger than the pot. 8 tops works best as you can get them all outside the rails.

Yes I do. But I meant individual square canopy scrog, so I can move plants around.

Day 14 with 4 blueberry skunks mainlined to 8.I had to change out 2 of my T5 660 nm for 2 coral waves to try and slow the stretch yesterday.They have grown almost 16 inches in 14 days,they look great but I'm worried about penetration with my lights.Moving from 5 to 7 gal pots and from reg soil to super soil have shown much more growth potential than the last run with this set up.

Update!! Have two plants in week 7 flower Exodus Cheese and Sour Jack Then the exciting ones are 20 week 3 seedlings of 9 Cataract Skunk and 11 Bagseeds that are getting ready to be topped in the next couple of days then the sweet bondage to get them to 8 headed beauties and a lovely life in the outdoors of the NW. Then there is this bagseedling that stressed itself into a plant that makes me just think of the possibilities especially with mainlining of what this could mean Yup three growth chutes at this node so exciting please be female (fingers crossed)

Yes if you keep all of the colas generally the same height you will get uniform colas.
