  • Brock from HLG called, he had called some time ago and no message was left. So they did and will return calls.
I bought two 600Rs and have sent both an email and called asking a question and haven't heard a thing. It's been a couple of weeks. I have mentioned this in a survey and will voice my dissatisfaction with HLGs communication at every opportunity.

I use a small ladder to adjust the light when it gets too high to reach and the old hps didn't have an adjustment

Brock@hlg also confirmed, I could use a lumen meter to measure output at full power and 30" and then multiply that lumen by a percentage to get known values. Change the height of light, put the meter at canopy height, and adjust dimmer to hit desired percentage.

I wish I needed a ladder. I don't have a nice meter, so I use the manufacturer's recommendation when I buy a light. Then measure its intensity with a crappy light meter. If all goes well, I know the meter's measurements and use that from there on out.
    Hey Stephen
I am wanting to place an order with hlg.
So i was looking at the 300L rspec and the 350R
I am going to run a 3x3 or 4x4 tent (still trying to see which one will fit best.
Besides pricing which would be best option?
    Thanks for ur help
Extremely new to rollitup. But after what seems to be day after day hour after hour of led light research. ( headaches) Most signs point to trust HLG. I want to support a US company. Digging around I see you have new design coming out soon. Should I wait to order until it comes out?
Hey there.. Have a 5x5 tent on the way and looking to start my first grow in a few years... third ever. I’m looking for a quality light that can get the job done Instead of some cheap knock off im gonna have to replace in a few months or to get any quality product. Was looking at the 550r... what would you suggest?
Greetings! I was forwarded your name from someone else. I am new to growing indoors and looking for good lighting options. I am thinking about a 3x3 or 2x4 footprint and was suggested the HLG 260. Would one rig be ample for the space and 2-4 plants? Anything else you'd suggest?
If someone is growing Autos in a 3x3 SOG method... what light is recommend?

So a 240v to 120v step down transformer. As I understand this will double the amperage I just want to be sure it will not blow up my light lol it was expensive
I am in BC, Canada. I am looking to purchase a LED light for my 39"x39"x70" (3.25 ft x 3.25 ft x 5.83 ft) tent. The tent area is 10.5 sq ft. or 1 m^2. 30 watts * 10.56 sq ft = 316.88 W. I will use the light for the entirety of the grow cycle. I am growing Cannabis. The grow light should include rspec LEDs. What model would you recommend and how many lights for this space?
Wondering if there’s a discount code for the 550 Rspec? I’d rather buy from hlg direct, 3rd parties are selling them for about $900(15%)
