Here is mine, it's over 2 years old, but it spends winter indoors, it should fruit this summer.
An easier way to remove the top is to just twist it off.
A Generator that size would have a 350HP Diesel engine, the same size as found in a Tractor Trailer rig.
The rule of thumb on Generators is the HP is twice the KW output. This Genertor is rated at 168KW double that and you ~350 HP.
It would probably burn 100 gal or more in a 24 hour day.
That is WAY more generator they you probably need. Something closer to 20k would run a normal house, I bought a 15k last year to power the house don't have it completly wired in yet, This will just about power my whole house.
The one I bought is very close to this model.
Guardian 14 kW...
Somebody keeps saying that Pineapples can get very big maybe 6 feet across and 6 feet tall. But in a pot they will be much smaller. Mine is only about 2 foot wide and tall.
I started mine last year and it has grown very well. I plan to start another one soon. It can take 2 years or more to make one. When I start the next I will take pictures and post them, it may be this weekend.
I found a couple of those Emergency Blanket at a Farm and Home store, and used those to reflect some of the light back into the plants. Also added a couple of New Aluminum sheet pans from a restaurant supply store, these will help to reflect light up to the plants.
