thanks for taking a look at my thread pal the pics are on page 194 onwards comment on thread if you like and get chance..rep..
you wouldnt have happened to have a crimea blue or two that stayed small for a time did you?
They do a side by side at the local (Eugene,Or.) hydro shop, using FFOF and Roots Organic soil. I see a slight difference with the RO , but I am inclined to think they are dosing there RO being it is made here in Eugene,Or.
Happy frog is not for growing anything but seedlings. If you ever see a FFOF do pick up a bag and try it for yourself.

I have been using FFOF for seedlings/clones and all for 3 years now, and for 3 years my hydro guy has been busting my balls to try RO. So I finally did and I did a honest side by side. My findings where much worse than I thought for RO. I really thought I might be wrong and to find out, no I was right by staying with FFOF, but the RO was as good as dirt compared to FFOF.

When I bring buds in for my hydro guy, he always trips when I tell him I use only FF line up.
Ok here's how it all plays out. Out of 7 seeds that where germed and showed rootlets, then planted in Roots Organic soil, well only 3 lived and they where so slow growing that 3 that where planted in FoxFarm Ocean Forest surpassed them at double the speed if not triple.
I have had 4 seedlings come up in the Roots Organic and then die off.
I have since replanted my SLH seedling into FFOF soil and can only hope that it recovers and does not die from the dislike of Roots Organic soil.
I will not be using roots organic soil ever. I am now to understand it is a crappy product and FoxFarm Ocean Forest wins hands down. FFOF will not burn seedlings, however seedlings will not grow at regular speed if at all in roots organic.
Roots Organic Soil up against Fox Farm Ocean Forest~ RO seedling died or extremely slow, FFOF all up and cruising fast. My conclusion is to never use RO soil.
No problem. I haven't seen the thread you're talking about. If you can find it I would love it if you posted a link in my thread. I'll look for it too, of course. Thanks for the compliment. :bigjoint:
