So I have searched alot of posts regarding the correct Agsil and CalMag doses per gallon of RO water but see some conflicts with what I am supposed to set each at.
I read on buil a soil website that the dosage for Agsil dry is 1/2 tsp per gallon but when I do my base water ppm is 300+. Is this...
I think Agsil sounds like what I would be looking for. Build a soil says to use 1.5 grams per gallon to buffer RO water.
An off topic question.
If I add RO water buffered with Agsil would I still need to add calmag if it is going into supersoil that already has Dolomite and epsom salt in it?
I am pretty much thinking the same thing although I thought a potassium lockout. I am treating for both mag and potassium. Sure hoping one of them works. Just got a 100 gal RO system setup so won't be using the well water for growing anymore.
I have had yellowing leaves last grow and the current one. Always happens around week 4 of scrog veg. I have been growing the same way in vic high supersoil for 20+ years without ever a problem.
The only thing that has changed is I moved and went from city water to well water.
I checked the...
I will be using potassium bicarbonate or potassium silica for ph buffering in RO water. Is one better than the other for what I have in mind?
Why would you choose one over the other
No I don't know the make up of the water ppm. I just used a tds meter to get the ppm reading. Whatever is wrong it has caused a nute lockout in the two grows I have tried since using the well water.
I have been growing the same way with supersoil for 20+years without any issues at my last...
