65 watts per square foot of growing space...it's simple...1000w covers 4x4 feet exactly 600 covers a 3x3 area perfectly and a 400 covers a 2x3 area...

well you have 16 feet of floor space, 600 watts would be 37.5 per foot squared, and 1000 is 62.5...when i chose for my tent i thought 1000 watt would be best because they say you want like 50 to 75 watts per foot...it's really not that hard to cool, but it's a 6.5 foot tent, keep the filter...
