    Magnesium issues(?) wont cease

Im back wanted to give an update. It seems the girl(GSC) likes her ph a little high around 6.5. Made the change after the suggestion and she's stopped dropping top leaves. Here's a pic of her now. There's enough healthy ones left I feel to make a grand harvest. Thank you all once again. :bigjoint:

    Magnesium issues(?) wont cease

@icetech I use drops. And the ph may be a factor also I typically ph to 5.5 and let it rise. I'll set it higher and stay vigilant. Thanks

    Magnesium issues(?) wont cease

Well ive been adding calmag lately at .5 tsp/gal for 3.5 gal and it led to this. Ill just see if the base notes can handle this and hopefully stop the Potash lockout.

    Magnesium issues(?) wont cease

Well based on my water report I'm already getting enough cal and will just get mag from nutes. Did a rez change and am sitting at a comfy ~600. It's weird because my previous grows of tangerine dream and pineapple chunk took the extra cal mag fine. But it definitely is a potash issue after...

    Magnesium issues(?) wont cease

Also checked my current water report(attached) my cal is about 4.88 mg/l, my mag is 0.851 mg/l and potash is 0.978 mg/l. So I shouldn't supplement with calmag?

    Magnesium issues(?) wont cease

@CannaCountry It's DWC, with hydroton and rapid rooter base, been feeding calmag since the start and haven't foliar fed them. signs have been going on for about 2 weeks now. The strain is girl scout cookies. @Renfro It's been running about 5.5-6 but sometimes overnight it'll climb to 6.5-6.8...

    Magnesium issues(?) wont cease

I have a girl showing signs of magnesium def. I'm following growweed easy's nute schedule which calls for 1/2 tsp of cal mag per gal since I'm at week 2 of flower. To try to fix it I went to 3/4 tsp per gal of cal mag and a tsp of dissolved epson salts and it's still climbing. my water isn't...

    First DWC Second Grow

Does your tap have chlorine/chloramine because if so they're killing the hydroguard bennies making it pointless. Also if not look into Southern Ag Garden Friendly Fungicide same bennies just in a higher concentration and at a cheaper price.

Who grows DWC without a chiller?

You can also use an ice probe. I grow in a 5gal bucket and while its not much my 4x4 tent can get hot (low to mid 80's) in the summer months so that brings up the water temps. I drill a 1/4" hole low on the bucket and use aquarium grade silicone to seal it up. Its over the top but works.

Help!!! Buddy passed away... finishing his crop

That's up to you, some flush (leech) and some don't but since you're in soil and chop time is coming up relatively soon I would recommend it.

Help!!! Buddy passed away... finishing his crop

Sorry to hear that, you have my condolences. Your friend was doing a good job, but it looks like too much nitrogen that could be strain specific though. In any case it's still not ready to harvest yet and i'd advise looking at some of the stickies on best harvest times. Also get a cheap 60x+...

    Lockout question

I believe you should check your water report and see what it's composed of, generally from all the research ive done since I started growing a plethora of people that use tap don't mix cal-mag in as well. That's more of an R/O and/or LED thing. Also when I tried to use my tap water (70-100ppm)...

Hang or mesh drying rack net?

Well I believe that each depend on environment, time and reason. If you live in a particularly humid region you would benefit from the extra air flow of a mesh and if you want a slower dry you would string em up, so: Mesh Pro More organisation if growing multiple strains or a very large amount...
