Why yes please put cheese on that! Blue Cheese clone DWC Bucket Grow - Ask away.

I understand what you mean about the drama on RIU as of late. I too think I may just leave the forum. Its sad because I have been here since 2009, and since I barely write anything on here (unless its to help someone with their grow) I have low rep. Kind of sad, but eh. Low rep = low respect on...

    light proofing a white bucket?

You are right, I must be a chump for trying to help someone out. Then again I thought that was the whole point to this whole website, teaching & learning. And maybe when I said I was asking on someones behave, it was not so much me asking for someone else ( I guess I misspoke there). My opinion...

    light proofing a white bucket?

I agree, your roots look awesome, black buckets are superior to those green ones (IMHO). I have grown with a number of different hydro systems (including dwc bubble bucket like yours), different types of plants (fruits, peppers, herbs), learned that ANY light to the root zone is a bad thing...

    light proofing a white bucket?

Buckets and set up aren't mine. I was asking in behave of a fellow RIU member. He already has some sort of slime, I told him I felt it was the buckets, he seems to disagree. I believe the buckets let enough light in and allow light loving bacteria to gain a foot hold on his hydro system...

    light proofing a white bucket?

What do you think about these green buckets? I can clearly see light through the buckets, or maybe I am over reacting?

First time growing in 10 years, tell me what you think of my setup

If you can SEE light THROUGH your buckets, you are feeding the bacteria light. Plain and simple, and of course the manufacturer of your hydro system would deny liability. Trust me man, you can continue to fight the bacteria all you want, but that bacteria has only one goal in mind, propagating...

First time growing in 10 years, tell me what you think of my setup

Your system is beautiful but has one major flaw, which is causing your problem with slime in the root system. Your buckets! I noticed it back in page 5 when you where showing your root, your buckets should be solid black, but I noticed yours are green (and kind of sheer) you can see light...

    Feeding Your Plant With Breastmilk?

Breast milk? I prefer Brawndo: The Thirst Mutilator. It has what plants crave, Electrolytes!!! But dont take my word for it! Look at this pic. Its green for godsake! Everyone knows plants are green. Duh!

First time grower, and plant looks like its stopped growing

MiracleGro. As in "its a miracle if anything will grow in that shit". No offense but get rid of that stuff. Its no good.

Help, I have no trichomes on my leaves.

Trichromes are a natural defensive response by the plant to protect the leaves (among other reasons). I see that you are using a cfl for light, which isnt enough light for most plants to flower (properly).

    Curing OG Kush

How many weeks did you dry your bud? In my experience the only time the "hay" smell comes along is when you put improperly dried bud into a jar. Without knowing how long you had it drying (in a dark place hopefully and without any quick drying "shortcuts") I cant help much. I can tell you this...

    Stunted Growth - Please Advise?

Your SLH may be starting to become nute deficient. Looks like the beginning of Zinc deficiency from what I can see: Notice the leaves are starting to "claw" and distort. The flesh of the leaves are looking wrinkled or "bubbled" on the growing tips. If it IS zinc deficient, in the next week you...
