a 400 watt hps only produces 50,000 lumens... a 600 watt produces 90,000... better to keep the 600

i found 250's dont produce very dense buds.. it produces very little PAR watts and a relatively small amount of lumens. the 400 is much more capable and produces much denser nugs. but if you must use the 250 i would only grow 2-4 plants and keep them little ... i mean tiny. flower the plants...

so you got 25 clones in that space? how big of an area are you using? im in the process of setting up something similiar.. i have a 600w light now and clones rooting. i was thinking of getting a light mover and having roughly 25 clones straight from rooting to flower

it all depends on how tall they are. if you flower right after a strong root system develops im assuming 20??

and MH give off a lot less heat than HPS too right?

i have an enclosed ballast mini 250 watt mh/hps fixture that i had a 250 watt hps light in. i recently swapped it out for a 250 watt MH for a mother and i dont know if its just me but the light seems really dim compared to the hps... i think something is wrong. can someone please help me +rep
