I have been reading your threads for awhile and would like to thank you for assisting all us newbies. I have a couple organic grows under my belt (big shots-out to Mr.Subcool for that) and have started fermenting plants and making FFE. I also incorporate aerated teas with home-made rice wash EM. I needed assistance in making more recipes/concoctions and would appreciate some from your "cook book" which I am sure has some old school stuff.

Hi I just discovered UB's Toppint thread. You offered a PDF on photosynthesis. If you still have that I would appreciate a copy. Thank you.

    Hello,
Ive read a considerable amount of your data on c02.. I would like to know your opinion on using your yeast recipe with an air floor. Would it be possible to saturate the plants effectivley with c02 using tubing run under neath the air floor. The combination of air floor and upper far corner exhaust creates a low pressure area inside your room that may or may not help saturate plants(this is a question sorry)? Also I use a 1000 hps for flower, I live in a southern hot region and keeping things cool with a 1000 can be a bit tricky and costly, question is will c02 help with hotter temps enough to consider this as a way of keeping warmer air in the room and not have to cool it as much? Thank you for the time you have put into the information you provide!!
read your co2 via yeast thread and thought youre the right guy to ask. My room is 968.75 cubic ft, 1085 if walk-in closet is included. i don't really get the science of fermentation, but would like to use the process to implement co2. i've read quite a few threads about 2 liter bottles, but i have a 55 gallon barrel to ferment in. my room is running in optimal environment, and i'm ready to reap the benefits of 1200-1500 ppm of co2. i was just at the brewery supply shop last night, couldn't asked them these questions. however, i got the paddle, is it hygrometer? and yeast that can handle 18% alcohol, pectic enzymes and nutrition for yeast. just need some advice on how to keep it safe. looking to learn how to brew beer some time in the future, any point towards the right direction would be helpful. Thanks.
evidently I cant PM here? i have a problem. I'd been reading uncle bens thread topping technique. fascinating! im on page 78 and still reading. Im growing my first significant crop. i dont know much botany but i can fix anything. you'd likie the HPS lamps i put together. im up north an its cold here. i can hardly find soil. i just transplanted my 6 plants from 1 to 5 gal. immediately one developed i am thinking some kinda root rot. its wet, i have fan leaves yellowing rapidly. its in its second week of flowering and there is a mold or a fungus in the soil. i believe i over watered. but what i wanna know, do i need to protect my other plants? is there a quick cure if i over watered, (5 gal pots have bottom holes) should i try and save the plant by taking cuttings? i have pic. i looked for PM's etc. still new here. so if ya can help me save my plant (garden?) well if not, i am still getting high off your thread... thanks, Mike
etremly ugly.ur christianity/goodwill towards others seem to be non-exsistent.i hope ur not all alone as you seem.again i wish you the best.Peace
Why would you PM me to ask if you expected this response?? If you can't read the forums/FAQ why should I bother.. If everyone spoonfed answers to noob questions through PM then the 'public' forums would be pretty damned empty, and ppl who would try to help themselves would 'need' to beg for a personal assistant in the forums.. I already type enough redundant crap on here.. Ironically this lecture is one of the few things I've never had to type before..:)
You asked NO horticultural question in your (likely soon to be deleted) public thread, if you had I may have answered..
The funny thing is, you actually taught me something.. See I've never had to ignore anybody before, and I was unaware that changes to the ignore list must be saved after updating..
Also, thank you for allowing me to make my opinion on spoonfeeding clear in my vistor messages, it may just prevent another you from wasting my time.. I know its not likely but ya never know..
exact response id expect from a know it all.the smuggness of your reply was rude and totally uncalled for.all am asking is for someone too help in probs IVE spent time researching and confirming an inexperianced opinion.i apologize for wasting your obviously valuable time.i wish you nothing but the best.PEACE
I've never really done any actual breeding, just a bit of natural seed production via my dad when I was a kid.. He had some old genetics from the 60's, and always transplanted a male in this one spot where most pollen wouldn't reach the females, but some would.. No fancy technique at all, he is old-school.. I know the genetics through school, and personal interest..
What's goin on. I noticed a few things you had mentioned in previous threads about the guy wanting to know what he has to name his strain. It seemed like you were the only one that has any clue about breeding/definition of landrace, reasoning for backcrossing at least six times to establish a stable variety, etc. I am dabbling in a project myself that I feel at the moment has lost direction and I suppose I would like to pick your brain if you dont mind keeping in touch. Feel free to do the same and please share if you have had any success on past projects.
Just go through 4+ years of university physics/chem..
Aside from that, just read up on the processes themselves.. There is a ton of info on the process relating to less narcotic compounds.. Its not like you can actually use the info though.. I have access to the equipment, and I can't really do it since a GC/MS apparatus isn't exactly a pair of pliers, and I would have to requistition the internal standard compound..
    Dear Mr Ganja,

I'm relatively new on this site but been a smoker/supporter over 20years in California ~ I'm interested in learning more about on measuring THC levels which your comment sparked my curiosity ~ can you direct me to more resources to learn about this method? I understand that the THC is separated in a solvent such as hexane and used in a sonicator then the gas chromatograph is used to heat to precise temp and then a flame ionization and mass spectrometer is used to detect vaporized compound. My question is how do I read/understand the results? Any help would be appreciated ~ Thanks

    Cheers,
    James
