Hey bricks got a few questions for u, hope u don't mind. Ok so here goes I'm planning a grow that is probably going to be eating about 7000w at peak time when all systems are go, I was just wondering what size cable and breaker should I have this system on? If possible I was thinking a 20amp for the 4000w hps and a 20amp for the fans and small pumps and other various items. Does this sound right? I must also mention I am living in the uk and all power in my house and all wall sockets are 240v. Thanks dude peace

      Hi Bricktown,

I'm new here so I can't sent PMs. I'm in need of some assistance with getting more power to an extra bedroom, in a safe manor. If you can start a PM conversation with me, Please respond there and I'll give you all the specifics.

Thanks in advance for the help!

      Hi Bricktown

I am currently running a 1000 watt hps on a digital ballast for a single 4x4 table. I have 100amp service and have found the breaker flipped if I ran the dishwasher and the washing machine at the same times as the lights. So I don't run them at the same time anymore. I was hoping to increase to 3 1000 lights(flower) and a 400 or 600 for veg. Is this going to be possible. I still have room in the service panel?

now my bathroom lights and fan dont work and they ran off the 15 amp breaker. but the outlet in the bath still works so at least i can have a lamp for light in my bathroom. so I am at a crossroads. This place is pretty old and built cheaply so I am assuming the cheapest minimal wiring is used throught the building. so what can i do. i cant just add a larger breaker using existing wiring right, I am thinking not. its not like there is a extra space in the breaker box to add another switch. so How can I get the power i need to run my room without burning the place down.
I know I am not getting my security deposit back so drilling some holes thru floors and walls is of no concern. I just dont want to burn the place down.
Can i add like a 50amp breaker and run my own wiring to my grow room. How do I go about doing that without getting an electrician involved.
please throw some ideas my way.thxhttp://asset2.rollitup.org/smilies/weed.gif
