What spectrum is it? And at only 48 watts? You need around 100 actual watts per plant. Also led's don't penetrate very deep into the canopy. I'd recommend a high pressure sodium or metal halide if you can exhaust the heat. Go with cfl's if heat is an issue.

As long as you can vent the heat (I'd recommend a cool tube) then ya, the bigger the better.

Yield depends greatly on skill of grower. If you do all 15, and don't kill off any, 1/2-1 lb.
