Hey man, I've been reading about your ice grow from last year, looks great! I'm growing ice right now, too, I ordered 10 reg from nirvana, germed all 10, and they're looking great, I'm on day 10 of veg since I switched the seedlings to 1 gal. Pots. Just wanted to say awesome posts, and oh yeah I'm from Michigan, too! Living in Midland. Maybe a smoke sesh is in the future! I'll be starting a journal soon of my grow.

Omg u must have a big set up. I am looking on amazon right now, they have a bunch of fans specifically marketed to hydro set ups. So much stuff!! I am having a hard time finding a filter, though. The filter will basically run off the fan, correct? The air that is pulling out, will go through the filter?

Ohh...... I thought since it said "Inline" it was doing the same job. OK. Just kidding on the fan I ordered. Actually I haven't ordered it yet, so no biggy. Ok, $90 is doable.

Ok let me go back and look for the inline fan.. Also for that size of a tent, would a 650W HPS be ok?

Ok, I appreciate all the help. This is what I am doing... I am ordering a 6" Inline Duct Fan that is 350CFM, also 6"x25' of ducting.. I am also ordering a 60"x60"x78" Grow tent that has 6" ventilations..And a cooling grow-light reflector. I think i am good then?? I saved my shopping carts online just in case I am missing anything and need to add anything else before checking out... Thank you so much!!!!!

Or what about a cool tube reflector?? Isn't pretty much the same thing as far as purpose?? i see those are less expensive.. I can snag one off Amazon for $50 and it's for MH/HPS up to 1000W and has a 6-8" air duct. Again, sorry for all the questions.

The tent says it has vents for 3-6" ducting. So basically, like with the closet, I would need to be bringing cool air in, and blowing hot air out. Ok so if I did a hood like the one in this link, then I would need an inline fan and ducting.. a filter would be good too. Ok sweet, I found them on Amazon!! And they are really aren't that bad, price wise. They even have 5'x'5'x6' grow tents on there on for the $110.. We do have a grow store here, but they would charge way more.

Ok, where do I find those hoods? I see nothng like that at Home Depot, lol.

Would I need a particular type of a vented hood? Like, it wouldn't be the same as a range hood would it? Sorry about all the question.

I dont think I have any security issues.. I rarely have ppl really going in and out. It's just me. I am guessing it'd be easier to control the smell, also? I can fet a filter for the room..

Ohhh, Sweet!!! Ok, so this will be my next venture. Cheap door with holes, and then an exhaust fan. I wonder too if I would be better off just moving the plants into the actual bedroom and set the lights up in there. I live alone and that room is where I have my painting studio set up and that only occupies 1/3 of the room, maybe less. Then I could just get a fan for the window?

So a hole saw? ok. Is it as easy to use my cordless drill? JK. I can probably get my brother to help me out, since I don't really let many ppl know I am even growing. If I asked another guy friend to do it, he might be a little curious as to why he is cutting holes in my door.
